      Also, just look up pictures of bryson back in 2017. He has always had a thick neck. He could just be bulking up and gaining strength in the gym. Do you have proof he is on steroids and/or PEDs?

    I don't understand the hate for this guy. "Golf is much more than distance" So his putting and approach shots at the US Open weren't far better than everyone else who hit MORE fairways than him? I seriously don't understand the hate for a guy who is honing skills that most aren't prioritizing. Plus, there are people who still hit it further than him on average, yet I don't see hate for them.

    • @bneale

      He's dissing the game by bulking up, drugging up just to hit the ball longer. That's why he's rightfully hated.

    • @JackTN678
      @JackTN678 4 года назад +10

      @@bneale lol this is just an odd reply. So if you are a 150lb emaciated twig who drives the ball 250, you shouldn't try to improve that by gaining muscle and weight because it would be "dissing the game"? Get a grip, this isn't 1850. Does he need to use actual fairway woods to make you happy too? Times change, sports progress. There are zero rules against trying to become stronger and more fit to improve your game, just like every other sport: improving your strength and fitness can improve your sporting ability and you'd be an absolute fool not to.

    Cameron champ hits it 350+ and has over 200 mph ball speed...he hasn't won anything worth noting...so anyone saying that he's cheating or dissing the game is an idiot...if that was the case, bubba rory and especially Cameron champ would have been winning everything....

    If conditions are wet, other players with less distance off the tee will be able to stick their approach shots and Bryson’s advantage is minimized.

    I don't have anything against Bryson as a person, I just don't like his approach to the game. Glad he's an outlier, golf is about so much more than distance.
    Edit: for those pointing out he focuses on more that just distance, I know. I still don't like watching him swing or the way he approaches the game.

    I hope he wins but with all this talk about length and ‘his par at Augusta is 67’; he will not win. If he is a few degrees off on his launch it will be in the woods and it’ll affect his confidence. Again, I am hoping he wins but this much anticipation of winning before a major often does not work out. It comes down to putts that drop or chipping close to the hole to get up and down for par.

      See; much as I would have loved a Bryson win, a couple degrees here and there and you’re hitting your second shot from the woods. In Bryson’s case, deep woods. Hope he figures this out. It’s a treat to watch him play.
