I was graduating high school when Tiger Woods first won at Augusta. I remember being at work and finding out about his fall from grace in 2009. 10 years of horrible mistakes, personal issues, mental issues, character issues. To see him SOMEHOW PERSIST, introspect, change and become is really beyond words. For his children to see their father overcome and excel at his very calling in life; as a father myself that is tremendously inspiring. All of us are leaders, if not in family, community or the workplace, then at least in our own lives. And the persistence to overcome and compete against one’s own limitations and expectations, one’s own inner demons, to set an example in not just results, but character - that is what is so inspiring about this Tiger Woods and this victory.
What is so amazing about Tiger's win is right now those in their 20's are the very best 20-year-olds to have ever played the game and Tiger beat them all.

Tiger has made my life more exciting than anyone else in my life. I watched the 2005 chip on 16 and the put from the top of the green on 9 today, for me, left my mouth open. I clapped out loud as hard as I could, alone, in my home in Florida many times that Tiger did something great. This is one of those eye-watering sport moments you just never forget. I started playing golf in 1990 (age 10) a couple of years before Tiger came out and dominated in the mid 90's and he was a role model of mine in the sport. Now I'm 38 (well, 39 in two days ;) ), still playing, and to see this comeback from Tiger now in 2019 after all his adversity is extraordinary. Loving it.

The thing that impresses me most about Tiger is his humility, and his articulation. When he wins BIG, he's never at a lack of words to give his opponents their just do. When his opponents win, they are always quick to throw spitballs at him, trash talk, and celebrate at his expense.

The thing that impresses me most about Tiger is his humility, and his articulation. When he wins BIG, he's never at a lack of words to give his opponents their just do. When his opponents win, they are always quick to throw spitballs at him, trash talk, and celebrate at his expense.
Winners move forward. Amazing. Inspirational.
I'm only a minor fan of golf and of Tiger, but I'd be happy to call this one of the great sporting stories of all time. He was so, so dominant, and then struggled so much and worked so hard to get back to this point. Truly a great moment in sporting history.
