I was graduating high school when Tiger Woods first won at Augusta. I remember being at work and finding out about his fall from grace in 2009. 10 years of horrible mistakes, personal issues, mental issues, character issues. To see him SOMEHOW PERSIST, introspect, change and become is really beyond words. For his children to see their father overcome and excel at his very calling in life; as a father myself that is tremendously inspiring. All of us are leaders, if not in family, community or the workplace, then at least in our own lives. And the persistence to overcome and compete against one’s own limitations and expectations, one’s own inner demons, to set an example in not just results, but character - that is what is so inspiring about this Tiger Woods and this victory.

  • @jnormanton

@Dawei Zhao 100% he definitely won this tournament just by being smarter and more experienced than those kids...he only took shots he knew he could hit, never took any risks, and just waited for his opportunity...now IF he somehow is able to get his power back...watch out, nobodies touching him

Finally, for the first time in my life I got to witness Tiger Woods actually be Tiger Woods. He was the reason I got into golf, but unfortunately it was few years after his last major in 2008 so I never really saw him be great, at least not live. I never thought I get to see it. Thank you Tiger for giving me a chance to witness your legend, even it is just one time.

Everybody watching got their moneys worth today.
Multiple young Turks playing their hearts out today and I can't help but think it was Tigers experience and calmness on this big stage, that got him home first today. Even with a few mistakes he stayed focused. Once he got the lead after the 15th, that's all she wrote. Extra nice to have the family there.
    Congrats Tiger!

If he stays healthy he can win 5 more Masters. He's proven he's mentally tough enough. No one in this interview asked him about his swing, I would have asked him what era in his career was today's win closest too. We know it's not 1995 but I think it's closest to 2005.

Tiger is and will ALWAYS be, the man!

The thing that impresses me most about Tiger is his humility, and his articulation. When he wins BIG, he's never at a lack of words to give his opponents their just do. When his opponents win, they are always quick to throw spitballs at him, trash talk, and celebrate at his expense.

I'm only a minor fan of golf and of Tiger, but I'd be happy to call this one of the great sporting stories of all time. He was so, so dominant, and then struggled so much and worked so hard to get back to this point. Truly a great moment in sporting history.
Really hoping he can keep it up.
