Te lo juro, no podía creer cuando vi que era una recomendación de Keane y no de tutoriales o de reggaetón, me alegra mucho saber que una banda musical del tiempo en que si existía música de verdad haya regresado!
Only Keane could write such an upbeat song about suffering from mental health issues, and produce such a superb result. It's criminal that this song doesn't get more airplay on my local commercial radio station. But with this album, they are back to their best!

@@Daibowmorgan Musically the tune is upbeat, major key and radio friendly. But lyrically it most definitely isn't. The lyrics suggest some level of personal experience of depression and it's courageous to highlight this via a song for the world to get an insight into this awful illness

It is 2021, and I'm just now really getting into Keane. It is like getting into a television series late in the game and getting to binge watch. My son passed away of natural causes at the end of 2019, and of course, the existential crises that followed is rough terrain to mentally navigate through. Lately, I have to listen to Keane before I can get any of my college work done (English Major for teaching). I use Keane as a type of cathartic experience to help clear my brain fog. It's a dopamine hit. Keane has recently became my morning routine. My spouse ordered me my first Keane record last night since I've been relying on RUclips to hear the band. I don't mean to tell my life story. I just wanted to give a glimpse of how meaningful this band's music has been in my life to get my shoes on a walk forward, even if it is with a limp. Keep creating; we'll keep relating!

This band has somehow found a way to tame the "fame monster" and all the years continue to be centered on important messages and their genuine love to create genuine music and it shows so much in every performance. If you look at a live performance of theirs from 2009 and look at how they perform now, it's with the same vigor and passion. When I watch them perform, I think, "If I ever do anything with as much passion as the drummer or pianist, I will have done something right and found something truly great." These guys are special.
Society will lose something great when society loses Keane someday. When will we learn that these are the messages that we need to fill our day with? Not messages about sex, drugs, money, and unnecessary violence. Keane does such a great job in trying to express the issues of today and the human condition but also not dwell on them to the point where it becomes toxic, as most music and film does when it wishes to express completely unadulterated emotion and experiences. Keane expresses the pain of the individual just as much as they support and uplift the individual by telling them to keep moving onward and hold on to what you know is true and good despite it all.
Thank you Keane for doing whatever it is you did to accomplish what you have. Whatever hardships you had to go through to get to where you are, it's been worth it as your music sincerely means the world to your listeners. Your music is the music I listen to when I feel like I can't do things all by myself and need reinforcement and for that, I have so much gratitude.
You will always have a special place in my iTunes library:)

The relevance of this song is underrated. An anthem about mental health and what it feels like to know for sure that something is wrong while also feeling pretty unsure why, or what to do about it.

THANK YOU.... I've also felt the song is underrated... Tim has always been able to put Depression into words in an almost Divine or otherworldly way... Strangeland (as an album) pulled me out of a long bout of Depression... Tim's lyrics were like being held in the dark while you cry. This song as well shows his unbelievable talent of putting thoughts you swore that no one except you had into simple words.... thank you, Tim Rice-Oxley, from our community of those diagnosed with a mental condition for a hand to hold in the form of this (and many others you wrote) song.

Keane is the first band I felt like I found on my own and wasn't introduced to by someone else. Their music is so beautiful, despite or maybe in part because of the sadness that underlies much of it. I'm so glad to know their music!

The anthem to the kids who shined extremely bright in school. Maybe not so many friends but had perfect grades, perfect attitude, and then they get into the world and nothing is ideal or the way they were taught it would be and then they lose hope because they aren't peaked anymore
Then comes the real test which is called life and so the question they need to ask themselves is: what are they going to do about it? Everyday is a choice.
And, as a kid with good grades but always dreading the next step up, this makes me even more terrified of the future
@@eviebradney2068 Adulthood is a trap if you're already depressed. I'm supposedly excelling in my career but I still feel hopeless. Seek help early if you have any signs of depression or anxiety, the longer it goes untreated the less it can be helped later. It's hard to get people to understand that just because life seems go be going well I'm still not really happy, and just barely what one would call "content"

The song is so upbeat for what it’s about. It invites everyone to jump up and sing along, like almost paving the way for vulnerability with these issues, since the first step is acknowledging them and this song makes it easy and fun to do so.

@@normathomas8276 I agree, but I don't know if you saw that comment by Tom (he probably deleted it, I don't see it now). Anyway, he said we're negative and that we live in a time of peace. Not false, to an extent. But what those ppl fail to see is that there's still a lot of selfishness, arrogance, ignorance, cynicism, and so on, that not everyone is as lucky as them and there's a deep misery in many ppl's lives. That's also why we have to talk about it, to make such ppl see there's a reason we're "negative", "pessimistic", etc. ...we want to solve problems, not sit on a throne (of lies😦😏).
Not to mention what we do to the planet we live on, the animals and nature's balance; that's easily the first topic we should focus on, because the roots of these problems happen to be the roots of the rest of our problems. From wrong priorities (psychological issues that blind our judgement and render us immature and shortsighted) to lack of values, knowledge (education system, bad parenting, etc.).
