I too enjoy having a donut after my weekend long run, so I'm basically training exactly like an Olympic marathon medalist.
I really enjoyed her honesty and the frank discussion.

This chick is a savage!!!! Running that race in 100 degree heat, 86% humidity, and only her third marathon! Her performance didn't get the attention it deserved. Just Awesome!!

There are women that actually win their first marathons in a much faster time. Nonetheless this is still a great achievement. Funny thing is the 2nd Place Silver winner didn't even look happy after the race. She was disappointed it wasn't a gold. Just puts things into perspective

Now Molly, as we know, has her Bronze Olympic Marathon Medal. What a surprise for me that Sunday was when I turned on the TV to watch the games, and the woman's marathon was about an hour into the run. I'm thinking, who the hell is this U.S.A. runner. Now I know. Learning about her has been a great trip.

New hope for women's distance running the US. Love her interview candor and willingness to share her past. With 12 high school titles and 4 NCAA titles it really should have been no surprise! All the shoe companies that turned their back on her are eating crow right now....Glad that Saucony stuck with her!

In the age of Covid, having a dog, cat and phone ringing shows that you are human, which is much more important than traditional "professionalism".

@@theevilspanky I will agree about the phone. That's an easy fix, but the dog and cat add some humanity.
