I rebuilt the 400m and with some serious machine work and cam configuration, it's pushing around 400 horses. 350 traction lock front and rear, and it gets the job done. But this truck is a work of art. Thanks for saving it, and sharing with those of us who truly appreciate these trucks.

Bought one new in 79 except a f250 4 speed dana 60s front and rear , the 400m was a gutless teard but still was a good truck , sorry I sold it. I believe I paid $ 13'500 for it new
I love your truck! What brand of steering column did you put in there. Is it a tilt wheel? I would like to put one like that in my 77 F-150. Also what brand of steering shaft fits that? Thanks in advance.
