The cards are amazing but the ROI is not there. Most hits are worth $2 with a few over $50. They printed millions of these boxes in Japan, there is no shortage over there. Yet they will jack the prices over here just because Prismatic Evolutions is in short supply.
For sure, not opening these boxes to try and make a profit. And agree people not knowing the different markets will get lured into jacked up prices based off of what’s going on with prismatic.
JPN boxes typically have a guaranteed pull rate of some sort. With this box you get 1 SAR and 3 reverse foils per box. TBH I like the balance but the higher risk on english gives me more thrill
The SAR's are amazing in this set. Yeah, some aren't super expensive, but that works for me. I'll just buy singles and hope the price comes down a bit.
Not going to lie, I had no intention of trying to master set this, but the Japanese booster experience is so fun that I might make excuses to buy more for it lol
Mate you should see the prices of this stuff in Australia. I bought one of those boxes last week for $155 Australian which is roughly. I think about 100 to 110 American and yesterday the prices went up to $175 😢

55 sounds like where it will land once hype dies down - maybe a bit higher based off where we saw VSTAR universe, shiny treasure - etc. we saw what they did to 151 lol
I’ve only opened two boxes First one had roaring moon sar, gold pikachu, and a masterball hawlucha Second one had a sandy shocks sar and masterball charcadet So I kinda got lucky as there was a masterball in each and that first box had two hits I treasure.
nothing wrong with watching the market on the sidelines when its acting irrationally. You having the funds left will give you buying power for other and more likely better opportunities

Artist credibility or recognition like you would for comics etc. maybe a dumb question but who draws/designs these ?😅
Yes! That’s a great topic - there are some artists that have followings especially some of the originals. In the magic, the gathering community artists are followed closely as well. If you attend MagicCon, there is an entire floor dedicated to the artist doing signings, selling artwork, etc. It’s one of if not my favorite part of the convention.

I think the Japanese version of any box has way better pull rates than the English versions
