    Ive done this combo lat year in a sisterhood odd the traveling scarf situation. Lol after these two rows I added bobble/ puff stitch (they are so close in design) them back to these two rows .. was a jump off from Mickey's hugs and kisses. Just love it. Laura. Have a blessed week🧶💞🧵💞🧶

    I suggest twisted double crochet lace stitch for a stitch name.
    By the way, I wanted to say. I love how you do the movements slowly enough to catch with photography close enough to see the loops of the yarn well. So many tutorials do not do this and it is hit and miss in trying to duplicate the stitch. I've been crocheting for many years but was not familiar with this stitch. I feel I could pick up my yarn & hook this moment and make something with this stitch. Where on other tutorials I would be replaying it many times trying to see what I couldn't see. I am subscribing and am so happy that I checked out this tutorial!

    • @HappyBerryCrochet
      @HappyBerryCrochet  5 лет назад +1

      It's similar, but I've added a row of sc in between and used a bigger hook so it's need more I think for a name 🤔

    • @lady4775
      @lady4775 5 лет назад

      HappyBerry Crochet you do have to add a sc to it to continue

    • @HappyBerryCrochet
      @HappyBerryCrochet  5 лет назад

      It can be worked without the row of sc but it would look different

    I have a rosewood collection of hooks I've accumulated over the years. I must carry within me quite a bit of tension because I bend my metal ones. lol. Don't know-how, just goes to bendy land! The Tunisian rosewood ones have a gorgeous spiral at the ends to kee the work as it should be meaning on the needle, not the floor!

    Hi Laura! Yes, I've done this stitch before.. when I did it, it was called the criss cross stitch or the cross over stitch. But thank you for doing it as I've forgotten about it and you brought it back to my memory. I have an Instagram account but never use it. I will have to check it to see if I'm following you. What brand of yarn were you using? It looked really nice to crochet with. Also, I liked that hook.. will have to check it out on Hobium. 💜😊

Love your work, I'm a new fan of your work.. Thanks again.. ohh, I just thought of another name since you mentioned variations of... How about "The Switch Stich Vine", or just "The Switch Stich" ???
