This stitch works up beautifully to be such a "simple" pattern! 💕
Ooh so this is the name of the stitching that my blanket is made of, cool!
Ive done this combo lat year in a sisterhood odd the traveling scarf situation. Lol after these two rows I added bobble/ puff stitch (they are so close in design) them back to these two rows .. was a jump off from Mickey's hugs and kisses. Just love it. Laura. Have a blessed week🧶💞🧵💞🧶
Your tutorials are so relaxing, easy to follow, and a joy to learn from. Thank you
Twisted Laces. Beautiful as always.
Hi Laura. Hanks for the video. I took my Q from this . I used a heavy 5 wt. Winter yarn. Premiere Puzzle.. and a size F hook.. also, I worked up half double between rows.. it worked up beautifully.... so, thanks again. Love your videos.
Hello Laura, I love this pattern. It almost looks like a loose weaved basket 🤗 Thank you for your awesome instructions.
Fabulous twisted stitch. I am going to give a shot and hopefully it comes out as pretty as yours. TFS!
I am working on an Afghan right now with doing the cross over DC from the front calling this pattern the Criss Cross stitch 👍
I suggest twisted double crochet lace stitch for a stitch name.
By the way, I wanted to say. I love how you do the movements slowly enough to catch with photography close enough to see the loops of the yarn well. So many tutorials do not do this and it is hit and miss in trying to duplicate the stitch. I've been crocheting for many years but was not familiar with this stitch. I feel I could pick up my yarn & hook this moment and make something with this stitch. Where on other tutorials I would be replaying it many times trying to see what I couldn't see. I am subscribing and am so happy that I checked out this tutorial!
It’s call the cross stitch love this stitch
It's similar, but I've added a row of sc in between and used a bigger hook so it's need more I think for a name 🤔
HappyBerry Crochet you do have to add a sc to it to continue
It can be worked without the row of sc but it would look different
Love this pattern so much that I have just started a throw rug in this design, it's almost 4 am here in Australia but not going to bed until I have done at least 4 rows, thanks for the tutorial and best wishes from Australia.

I have a mahoosive round display basket( home n bargains for those in uk..).. I’ve done the halloweeen one ready for next mth.. but, I’ve decided.. to use it for Easter etc too..
Oh that’s awesome idea as I’ve been putting off the cross stitch or the twisted as you call it simply brilliant thank you 🙏😊💖💖
Very nice and I love the hook.
Lovely stich, thank you!
I love all your works😍 i hope i have complete set of hook😅 cause i only have 3hooks, 2mm, 4mm& 7mm
I have a rosewood collection of hooks I've accumulated over the years. I must carry within me quite a bit of tension because I bend my metal ones. lol. Don't know-how, just goes to bendy land! The Tunisian rosewood ones have a gorgeous spiral at the ends to kee the work as it should be meaning on the needle, not the floor!
Oh I'm going to use this for a baby blanket. Twisted skipped stitch.
Thank you for this beautiful project . Glad to find you , in between I missed you quite for a long time . For most of my initial crochet , I follow you . Love your way of demonstration .
Great tutorial thank you xxx

this is fantastic! I have plans for this stitch... ive already done two of your puff stitch shawls and they came out wonderfully. maybe call it the crossed cables stitch?
Me encanta como explicas desde Argentina te re agradezco por dar este mensaje , la paz que me da el tejer, gracias a ti, resurgir el crochet , gracias
Hi Laura! Yes, I've done this stitch before.. when I did it, it was called the criss cross stitch or the cross over stitch. But thank you for doing it as I've forgotten about it and you brought it back to my memory. I have an Instagram account but never use it. I will have to check it to see if I'm following you. What brand of yarn were you using? It looked really nice to crochet with. Also, I liked that hook.. will have to check it out on Hobium. 💜😊
I think this yarn was a wool yarn by Sirdar but I'm not sure, lost the label 😬
@@HappyBerryCrochet oh well, that's okay. Thank you again for doing this tutorial.. I think I'm going to make some dish cloths using this stitch. Have a great weekend! 💜
Ciao Laura!!! bravissima!;;from Italy bye bye
Hi that stitch is known as the criss cross stitch in the UK only difference is here they put the second treble through the front , maybe need to try it from behind 💖
So nice but looks a bit difficult. I am up for a challenge!
Maravilhoso parabéns
●Title Suggestion● Hiya.. When I ran across your Tutorial I just love the look of it.. It looked like "A Honeysuckle Vine" Theres a good name for it.. (but use 'The' instead of A lol..lol..) Love your work, I'm a new fan of your work.. Thanks again.. ohh, I just thought of another name since you mentioned variations of... How about "The Switch Stich Vine", or just "The Switch Stich" ???
Cross-over stitch :)
i like the thought of calling this stitch the double crossed stitch or similar
do you have a link to the people you got the hook from?
Hobiumyarns.com 👍
Can please do this step by step please cause your going a little to fast please. Also your so talented
This is quite a complicated stitch for a beginner, so I do recommend watching my beginner tutorials first and coming back to ones like these.
If you were to do this as a shawl, what type of border would you use?
Can we call as easy stitch☺☺☺☺
Twisted Sister
The x and single crochet stich
