Compressor & tank in cabin with the trumpets in the bumper areas.

I ordered mine. I went with the 5gallon tank size($40 more, why not) I'm mounting the tank and compressor in the bed and the horns under the bed.
Luckily I did an exhaust that exits before the rear wheels so I have plenty of space right there. I wanted to mount the tank under there too but I don't have that much. I probably could stuff it under there but it would be close to the exhaust or the differential and I'd rather not do that.
Im fabricating a removable piece for the bed so I can unhook everything and take it out if I for whatever reason need the bed space. Plus I'm also going to do an onboard air system as well. That's the excuse on why I got it, that makes it practical 😂
That picture is all you need. Your experience should allow you to know what each part is if you install it yourself. There are no detailed instructions because there are so many ways to wire and hook the system up. Everyone will do it a different way for their individual needs. Great video, thank you brother!

Jeremy, just purchased the same horns you got, they've gone up a little in price and the horns are back ordered but looking forward to getting them on my 2020 Ram Dually. I'll let you know how they work out.

I ordered your exact package. Extremely pleased with it! I have a 2011 silverado. I mounted tank & horns in the spare tire area and the compressor under the hood in my spare battery area. Works well in these areas

Union Pacific is the best, and AHT is the best place to get them, they use high quality hardware. Before I switched to AHT, I had a kit from Hornblasters, I went through 10-12 pressure solenoids in 10 months. Switched to AHT and maybe once a year changed the solenoid
You should try Airhorns of Texas! Had them on my truck for over a year and no issues at all! The best horn on the market for the money! No doubt!
@@Jeremyparker7 I've had both the K3LA and the Union Pacific on my previous trucks, both from AHT. Best horns I've had. My current setup is a self contained system that mounts where the spare tire is. It seemed like a good idea from Hornblasters, problem is they have shoddy hardware, and they LIE. Their 4 horn conductor kit sounds NOTHING like a train. I miss my Union Pacific horn

Hey Jeremy, what compressor and air tank did you buy. Looking at buying some for Christmas but not sure if you bought the compressor and tank as a bundle or 2 separate ones. There is an HD kit, is that the one you purchased?
I used to have one of these and it was easily just as loud as the Buell B4 (AKA Hornblasters Shockers) horns, and in my opinion, they sounded better.
I recommend running this one on a 1/2" line and valve, replacing the stock 3/8". It makes a huge difference.

Hey, I live in Jamaica so I ordered these have them shipped to Miami the to Jamaica. Had installed and trust me, this horn is bang for buck it is LOUD. 2022 Ford Ranger Raptor

What a sound even at that great distance. Jeremy, need some data from you. How long (in seconds) you can use the horns until your installed tank (what capacity? 3 ga or 5 ga?) in the bed is empty?
I have a 3 gallon tank and its takes about 8 seconds to dump the tank.

Airhornsoftexas lists measurements of that horn on the website that cannot be true. Still looking for a decent spot under the bed of my F-150 when the spare tire is under the bed, too. Thanks again. I wish I had the room to install them on my 22 F450 but I need the spare and I also plow snow and will have a salt spreader in the bed so my options are very limited.

Wondering, if hooked to the stock horn wiring, will the compressor kick off once the air tank is full, or will the compressor run the whole time to truck is running. ? Would like the horn for emergencies to maybe avoid an accident, so leaning over to flick a switch and wait 3 minutes is kind of pointless unless your just using the horn for truck shows and Things like that.

How many gallons is the one you bought? 1.5, 2, 3, or 5? Part number 46115 comes in multiple variations.
Which size air tank did you go with?
That sounds like a recreation of a K3HA/K3LA, which is a horn offered by Nathan Airchime. Even though this is a pseudo train horn, it's nice that they used a chord based on a real horn.
Hey man did you go with the 120psi, 150psi or 200psi? They have 3 options with the 3 gallon tank

@@Jeremyparker7 did you use Jason’s relay? I’m also connecting it to Aux 1&2 stock ram upfitter panel. Was going to wire horn solenoid to 1 and compressor to pressure switch, then off the pressure switch to the aux 2.
Fantastic video Jeremy. Three very Quick questions though. How long does it take for the compressor to fill the tank AND...after I fill the tank, can I drive around with it in the ready for a quick blast when needed, say, hours later without the air leaking out and lastly, I don't wanna have to reach up or over to a separate switch to activate the horn since it's usually because of an emergency situation, so can I just use my stock motorhome horn wiring? Thanks Bro.
Normally takes about 3-5 min to fill the tank and as long as you have the everything sealed tight the air will stay in as long as you want. Yes, you can use your stock wiring.

I’ve got a 2019 F350 and just got the 46115 today. How difficult was it to wire the power from the battery to the aux switches? I was thinking about making aux 6 the power and putting a push button on the dash to the right of the wheel. I’m no electrician by any means.
Wiring to the aux switches are pretty easy. They should be in a color coded bundle on the driver side firewall. I put my compressor on #5 and horn on #6
After watching your video again I decided to do the same. Really don’t feel like cutting a hole in my dash after all.

Have you used it when you've seen deer or moose on the road? I assume you have deer, not sure about moose. I have hit a few deer with my car. I leave for work at 5 am. I hit the hirn every few miles to hooefully scare them away before they are close. In northern Canada, they hide in ditches to get away from wind when it's -40, get startled when they hear a car and run where its easiest to run - on the plowed road rather than through a snowbank. I need to scare them away long before i get there.
