She been through it, dealing with divas and a lowlife manager with The Runaways, then playing for various groups, then dealing with more divas and close knit sisters in The Bangles. She says she struggled with demands and pressures of touring. With her disappearance, you wonder if she has had bi-polar issues to deal with.

I know exactly what you all feel - I was 16 to 26 during the 80s. The 80s were a cultural phenomenon - the music and the artists were hot. We had a blast during the go-go 80s; and when we went out we went out in style. Both men and women were dressed well.

They are still great live (even w/o Michael Steele). Saw them last year in Atlanta with my daughter and going with my wife on 8/24 in Annapolis, MD. They play a lot of their old stuff live now, like Real World. That is an awesome song. Check it out.

Wow, I cannot believe that this concert took place almost 30 years ago. I was a Bangles fan since their “Different Light” album came out. And I remember that the girls in my school class didn’t like the Bangles. They loved Depeche Mode and they were jealous that suddenly we boys had our own female Depeche Mode :-)) Too bad I never saw the Bangles live, cause - as we can see in these videos of Pittsburgh - they were rocking harder on stage than on record. Great performances! The managers and producers tried to make a pop group out of them - but they were a pure rock band!!!
