Anyone else have an issue with playback speed of videos on the slave computer? I have them play at 4x the speed they’re meant to but stops right away when I turn off the slave machines OSC input
Hi, one question please. my main computer is an imac and a macbook is the backup. I use resolume with the pixlite card connected via ethernet. if the main computer catches fire to switch to the backup computer, keeping the advanced output settings, is my only alternative to manually switch the ethernet connection using a button? Or is there an automatic method that would do that? ie if I connect both the imac and the macbook to a switcher would both recognize the pixlite? and at that point it would be enough for me to just project the backput without thinking of manually changing the connection? thank you very much
Thanks for your reply , I mostly use resolume to pixel map lights . I’m curious if you have any insight on how a backup like this may work without getting artnet clash’s. Might the dmx output of the second machine just have to be tuned on manually when switching to the backup ,Thanks in advance
Hey Finn, As far as I know there isn't really a smooth way of doing this in Resolume. They best way would be to use a Artnet node which can handle DMX merge or switching. In theory a merge should work as both would be sending the same levels

Hey.
I don’t know much about pixlite, but I would assume it can probably do an Artnet merge from 2 sources, that it wouldn’t need a manual switch over
@@mith thank you
Helpful Video , are the video outputs switched using a video switcher ? Thanks
Thanks Finn,
Yes a video switcher would be the best way change over inputs

A Question.... How do connect this two machines?
Hi Alexander,
The two machines are both on a local network together
