Adam, you have a true gift for teaching. I have golfed for about 25 years. I’m a good athlete with good hand/eye coordination. I try to study the golf swing. For whatever reason I simply could not master the sway to the right backswing the lateral move forward, followed by a clearing of the hips. I was almost embarrassed that I couldn’t perform this move. Your concept of the weight shift has meant an enormous amount to my game. It has removed so much of the timing element for me. Thank you and keep up the great work.
Great lesson! My Under Armor golf shoes have this feel of pressure on the inside of my rear foot built in using those plastic cleats. It makes me conscious of what I should be doing. My Porzak stats: 93’s a year ago, 85’s now!! Thanks Adam!
Great video, if like me you went through a stage of going for false width you will end up collapsing/narrow at top i did it by early lengthening my left side, now i realise like AP says width is hands down away from center of chest,AP said it better!
this video might single handely fix my contact inconsistencies. i'm playing about 11 handicap right now and really close to breaking 80. my irons which were my best part of my game have quickly became my worst because of contact issues messing up my distances. i noticed that i sway and touch that "back wall" a lot causing me to have to use a lot of hands to recover instead of just pure rotation through. definitely gonna use that drill and i'm excited to try it today on the range.
Loading up on the inside of my ride foot is the best thing I’ve ever done for my swing. It automatically shoots me to my lead side when I start my downswing
Because I am a huge idiot, and don’t translate videos well into action, I needed to work with Adam directly. I met with him last Wednesday for an hour. He is beyond exceptional in person. You think there is knowledge and wisdom in the videos? It is all on another plane of existence in person. Plus, he is right flippin’ there to confirm positions. You think you are doing the setup bump correctly in your living room? Think again. He charges a handsome fee, but honestly it was money well spent. Game changing. Mad love and respect for what he is doing.
You mentioned adjustments for folks with bad ankles. I’ve got a left Achilles problem, and have found that leaving that foot pretty far open seems to help. Any other suggestions? (Righty btw, so lead foot)
I've implemented your hip bump and it has made my shots more consistent, however I'm still too often hitting deep divots(basically chunks)!! Any ideas without seeing my swing??? Thanks
i just bought some door wedges.... a pack of 6 from amazon for £5... and some superglue for £4.50.... think it should be fit for purpose. Will place some tape across the back as well.
It’s like I’m paralyzed on my left side. No problem turning in the backswing. Just can’t seem to get rid of the slide in the downswing and get that left pocket back.
I struggle with left knee pain - it was replaced 2/20 - and experiment with flaring my foot “open” about 10-15 degrees. Question: what are the risks in doing this? What should I look for to signal I’ve opened too much?
Why does the student slide to the left and almost dip when he rotates? It looks completely different from the instructors move. His entire lower body is swaying instead of rotating. Either way, this is simple expert instruction. 👏
I think I’ll have to open my feet, when I do this move almost feels like tension locks up that right hip. Flush the ball, but hips feel tight and locked
The guy's stanceooka too narrow imo n is causing him to sway... he doesn't appear to be doing what ur instructing but I suppose the ball flight is the really indicator.
Best coach on YT by country mile.
No one even close.
You’ve helped me so much man. I seriously can’t thank you enough.

Not a good athlete then
Best video of the day, by far. Except maybe the Golf Pitt one.
My last YT search was looking for more guides on weight transfer and rotation then 30 minutes later the best coach on YT puts this out.
Nice.

Which model?
UA Golf UA HOVR DRIVE 2 WIDE - but check the soles. Inside heels don’t have the big cleats. Outside edge does.
@@barryhill6482 thanks
Many thanks Adam another simple explanation of the golf swing…..❤
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching!!

Love the videos, whats the typical issue for a player who moves their head to the right after the takeaway?
Wow wow wow love this lesson!!!!
Thank you! 😃
I just made that wedge in my shop and glued to my right golf shoe. I hope is USGA conforming…
LOL
Another great lesson Adam 👏

We would use these foot slants in college for pitching. Gets you moving forward with built up coil.

Does this help in correcting early extension?

Ken Venturi used to practice with a ball under the outside of his trail foot.

Where do i get that wedge to put under my foot to practice this on the range or whats something similar i can use to simulate that drill?
Google squat wedge.. Used in gyms
@@andycarter9895 that's actually a good shout.... I've ordered some door wedge stops and super glue instead...

@PorzakGolf do you want this same feel with your driver? 3:26

Is it a reverse k setup?
Chsnged my ball striking with every club. Longer, more control, more consistent. Scratch here we come 😄
Wait a minute..... Adam how old are you?! Paul Azinger US amateur? What year was this?
This guy single-handedly is going to get me to break 80.
Need more name drops….

that guy you are teaching does a lot of hard drugs
Great
Skinniest, longest legs I’ve ever seen 😂
