Can’t believe it’s already 3 years or so, I still remember when you started this project you had only like a few hundred thousand subs back then, and now we are hitting the 2 mil subs! Congratulations and respect!
And mine. Idk why I'm so emotionally attached to this creaky assembly of old pallets. I think it's bc I really, really enjoyed Mike and his Dad working together to create it. Was inspiring to see such wholesome content in this day and age.
The pallet wood cabin is how I discovered your channel. Searching youtube for rustic cabin builds, and lo and behold, I come across two guys building a cabin from recycled pallets. "That's kind of weird" was my first thought. 15 minutes into the video and I was hooked on your channel. Glad to see it's still doing well. Cheers from Eastern Pennsylvania, USA.
Im watching from Sweden! I really like tha calmness in this video 💯❤🇸🇪 What a perfekt way to charge your batteries and connect to your innerself 🤟😁 thx
Nice to see this little cabin's still doin alright. I recall in the original build series people were all crying out that it was gonna get waterlogged and rot from beneath within months and stuff like that
Oh mate so close to 2 million! That's just amazing Mike, good on you pal! Nice to be seeing you in the pallet shed again. Great food too, I've been loving Guinness cake, that is awesome pal, tastes so good but that stew looked boss. As always, a pleasure to watch you buddy. All the best and here's to 2 Mill very soon!
I really missed the pallet cabin. I wish you'd do more of them -- it's one thing to be making things, but it's nice to just appreciate what you've made.
Rockford, Illinois in the U.S., I am disabled, so I must live my camping adventures vicariously through you. I've enjoyed your many proto home / cabin builds. You have an awesome dad too btw.
Don't like spiders, once had spider crawling across back of my hand I hit it so hard turned the back of hand black and blue for almost 2 weeks after that sprayed room every week to mak sure there no others LOL
I have always WANTED to build a pallet wood cabin similar to yours. We recently purchased a FAMILY home in the foothills of the Sandia Mountains, in New Mexico, USA. There is extra land, screened by scattered stands of pinon pines. My Pallet Wood Palace could be built a bit upslope, with fine views of sunrise and sunset reflected from the Sandia Mountains. My son could help build the cabin. I would enlarge the interior to accommodate a grandchild at a time on overnights. I would have a REASON😊to purchase a complete G-Stove setup and a couple of FeurHand Oil Lamps! My TWIN grandchildren would have the security of being able to walk a few steps to the main home since 'outdoor' overnights sometimes turn uncomfortable for them.
Good Nz morning Mike. For some reason I love the cabin series more, in winter, and particularly when it snows, than the other times. Remember "the beast from the east," that to me was brilliant. With the fire going and cooking over it, aaaah.!! Looking forward to more of the same. Take care mate. Atb from down under.
From Hungary, with my 5y daughter! A lot of inspiration we get from you. I hope I can have such a cabin in my wood in the near future :) Keep up videos like this, way better to watch before bed than any cartoon ;)
Great video, thanks for that. I really enjoy the informal beer, food & relax format, to me that's what camping is all about! Congratulations on your success and keep up the good work. All the best, Martin
For a long time, I thought Dawn was the best at the end of the day. My cat's love watching the Nature Channel, in the side of our house. Autumn is here, amen! Thanks for taking me places, I will never get to see.
I've been enjoying many of your videos for this last month - fellow English fella living over in Vancouver! Sounds to me like we're from a similiar part of the UK (Hampshire / New Forest area). You've inspired me to get into more bushcraft / overnight adventures - I'm off on a wilderness survival course this month! Love the peaceful, informative presentation of your videos, keep up the great work... one more sub towards your two-mil here!
I think the most profound compliment I could pay you, is letting you know, that when I watched this video, my blood pressure dropped several points. Such a peaceful, serene slice of Heaven on earth. Thank you for posting this.
LOVE this style of VIDEO! You are BACK IN ONE OF MY FAVORITE places: THE PALLET WOOD CABIN. I keep remembering the build and how you and your Dad did things! I started making some mixed meats stock: THEN I found you were here, simmering some stew. NO MATTRESS🙄?? MIKE: you are no NOVICE with bushcrafting!
I have missed this type of quiet video in the pallet cabin, my son and I watched you and your Dad build and add all of the out door extras! I live in Florence South Carolina USA.
Jeeperz, those spideys lolz. I love this pallet wood cabin and great to see it again and a campout there. I first came to your channel when you built it and remember that awesome hunting tower too. 💯❤👍
18:40 It could be the angle but I think you need to trim those branches near the chimney top so they don't catch on fire. Great video and the stew looks delicious!
Love the little cabin, and a great meal! I'm currently out on the Left Coast of the US, San Diego California, but I live in Georgia, USA... Been a subscriber for just over a year. I love watching you bushcraft builds.
Hey Mate! It’s snowing in NW Colorado, it came early this fall. Great to see you in the cabin. No more camping for us till late spring. Love from NW Colorado. Thanxz
It's always a pleasure to watch your videos... Your video, building that tiny pallet cabin, couple of years ago, really gave me a wake up call, and I built a tiny pallet cabin ,too! -So, have a nice day out there ,and keep up your excellent work 👍🙂 - greetings from 🇫🇮 Finland
Watching from Deep South, Alabama USA. Love this video, good to see the old cabin. Like your tips video's and love the overnighter and a few day ones with just you camping and talking about what your doing along with the pup. Thanks for sharing young man, keep up the good work .👍👍👍👍👍
Watching from Sweden! I love the overnighters, both the once under a tarp and the once in a cabin. The 10 minutes tips are also much appreciated. The film with the tipi tent shelter is my all time favorite. 🥳
Love it man, I dream of having a bit of land with some woods that I could build in and just get away from it all occasionally.Maybe set up a forge and do something blacksmithing in the woods. I'm in East Sussex and its all getting a bit too built up and overcrowded here these days.
One day, It will be time for the last TA Outdoor video. I thank you for sharing your youthful beauty and zeal for natural living. One of my very favorite is the snoring and dreaming from the warm concrete box.
Thanks for another great video Mike, brings back a lot of memories. Being raised in Alaska I learnt a lot about life and living the cabin life out in the mountains. My dad was an outdoorsman and he was a pilot, he had his own Bush plane and we would go to the cabin in the mountains and watching you with your Dad and doing different things with him brings back a lot of memories, so thank you for sharing with the world. I live in the USA. Looking forward to another great video
Excellent video thank you for sharing. I have said it before you always make your viewers feel that they are there with you which is great for me who is housebound at the moment. Great stuff, I could watch these all day.
I really enjoyed this one. I always appreciate your attention and effort in capturing the sights & sounds. Would love to see a wintering one soon, maybe in one of the other cabins.
Nice to see u back in the pallet cabin . I remember your first time when it was completed..seems ages ago. I think less is more sometimes..plain simple video.
21:14 yeah I figured you wouldn't sleep that good on a wood board. I'd say it's time for an upgrade, and in the spirit of the build, I'd say add in some soft couch cushions you get from an old left by the side of the road couch, take out the stuffing bit, and use some fake leather and upholster the bed.
What I enjoyed most about these vlog style overnights was the opportunity to reflect back on the progress you've made. Like when the bushcraft fort was still up. I still enjoy the parasocial hang out though. It's just missing that sweet spot.
Watching from Northern Alberta, Canada, and I love these types of videos, I find them relaxing for sure, and makes me dream of getting out in the bush as well! The Pallet Cabin is by far my favourite!
Man I really do envy you. To be able to go out and do something like this off a whim. To do something like this while living in California where I live is unheard of unless you ow the land yourself. Which of course by the. You can do it with no worries. I guess I’ll live my dreams through watching you lol love the content keep it up.
My goodness, I remember when you first built the cabin. I remember your stove being shiny. Lots of love from Las Vegas, and hope you and your family are doing well.
These cabin videos are honestly my favorite part of your channel. Love the cooking/eating sections especially. I was a bit sad you didn't bring any butter in this episode though haha
I utterly enjoyed every last second of this video and would happily watch hours of this type of content. One of the things I've enjoyed and respected about Mike's journey from learning the basics all the way to being one of the biggest Tubers in the genre is the apparent realness and humility of Mike's character. I really feel like I know Mike and that I'm watching Mike Mike, not some contrived, conceited persona who's just here to sell me expensive toys!
These are my favorite videos that you do! Keep them up! Also, when you open mail and when you bring your dog along! Love seeing all your new kit you have and "coffee talk."
Man I remember you and your dad building it and then moving it! Great to see that it's still there and your still using it for what it's meant to be, a relaxing place to just camp. Keep up the vids love every one of them
Nice video that YT suggested to me. Reminds me of our hunting camp when it first started out. (We've expanded it over the years) Our camp was small and had similar style bed, table, & window shade. It was a repurposed out building from a closed summer camp that was transported to our woodlot. Watched from New Hampshire, USA.
Can’t believe it’s already 3 years or so, I still remember when you started this project you had only like a few hundred thousand subs back then, and now we are hitting the 2 mil subs! Congratulations and respect!
The pallet cabin is STILL my favorite TA Outdoors' build project. So happy to see you spending a night there, Mike! 💕

I miss videos with this cabin. It's been an inspiration to me and others around the world. Thank you so much!
The cabin chill, chat and cook format is great, makes a change from the minimalist bushcraft over nighters

Same here. I liked he did it with his father
Same for me. I discovered the pallet cabin build a couple of months ago and subscribed within a few minutes of watching it.

Long live the Pallet Cabin
Long live the pallet cabin ✊
Long live the pallet cabin ✊
And the pallet duck blind.
Mike: spiders don’t keep me awake
Me: burn down the cabin ! 😂
Spiders are actually my biggest fear in the woods
Y'all don't even get decent spiders there. Come to Australia.
This type of video is very welcome! I love all of your videos, but it is nice to have a relaxing video occasionally. Thank you!

I would NOT sleep in there with that monster spider overhead…! 🤢
Nice! You should do a collab with TA Fishing and do a catch and cook?
Yes! Hopefully some winter ones
Love the cabin but the amount of spiders would freak me out. Literally so scared of them it's unreal
That makes two of us.
I really missed the pallet cabin. I wish you'd do more of them -- it's one thing to be making things, but it's nice to just appreciate what you've made.

As much as I love the Cabin videos, after showing the spiders, I can't handle watching it!! OMG I'm grossed out right now.
These are my favorite videos….I own some woods and am building a cabin like yours.
You are lucky my friend. Enjoy your build.
