Rolling Stone Magazine had a big influence on me as a young teen in the early 90's. My first real introduction to the world of sex, drugs, and rock n roll. Later writers like P.J. O'Rourke and Matt Taibbi helped me realize I wasn't crazy during the Bush and Obama years. I miss the days of MTV and Rolling Stone Magazine being relevant in the 90's.

O'Rourke and Matt Taibbi helped me realize I wasn't crazy during the Bush and Obama years. I miss the days of MTV and Rolling Stone Magazine being relevant in the 90's.

I love my Fear and Loathing story. Heard about the book on an episode of Blossom around 1996 and immediately got it from the library, loved it. Just a few months after finishing it I saw Hunter on Charlie Rose talking about the upcoming movie. I told my friends "you HAVE to read this, then see this!" I managed to drag two of them with me opening weekend, we were the only 3 people in the theater. Which would have made us the only ones responsible for the pot smoke in the theater lol.
