I could never err trying out the Goan sheera recipe the way Florency has demonstrated it. Music in the background builds up an appetite. Awesome and delicious as always 💐💞👌👌👌👌
It is so gracious of you, Janice, to speak so well of this recipe, thank you very much!💫 My daughter will be pleased to read your view on the instrumental - she produced the guitar cover :) Thank you again 💕

WOW feel like eating it right away Looks delicious dear. Congrats dear. By the way would you share the recipe of the Goan Doce Bhaji(made of lapsi-broken wheat) ? If so can you please do a video on it & let me know so I can write it down. Thank you God bless you dear 🙏
Hi florency! I made this sheero and it was just woooow 😱 i returned to my childhood with the first bite! Thanks for the recipe! Could you put the recipe for the sweet vermicelli sheviyan for the next videos plz?
Thank you, Dolly :) Glad to hear that you tried this recipe; food cooked with love has transcending abilities ✨ And I will surely add your request to the list of suggested recipes 💫
Quick question...is it “Goan Sheera” because a Goan person is making it? Or is this the type of Sheera that you can get only in Goa? I’ve had Sheera in Bangalore, Mysore, Mangalore, Bombay, Hyderabad and it looked similar to the one in the video, so I was curious as to why this was called “Goan Sheera”...
Thanks for you question, Seycas :) There are countless dishes across this country that each state calls its own, but are quite similar in many ways. The Goan Pinagr and Goan Soji are examples (there are other identical south-indian recipes, you may know). The Sheera (known in Goa as ‘Sheero’) is another on the list, and it does have its own uniqueness. Sheera, commonly would be a considered a dessert, heavy with ghee, dry fruits and rose-water. For Goans, our Sheero is a tea-time snack, with lesser ghee and predominantly cashew nuts -which are abundant- shaped or simply spooned onto a plate. My mum would usually cut them into diamond shapes, I remember :) So yeah, Goan Sheero has its own place 💫
Your receipy would have been more better if you had cooked it in pure ghee, raisins, more roasted dry fruits, green cardamon powder or grownded cardamon powder and pure milk with no colour which is not an option but at the same time is not good for health. Try it this original way and you will enjoy it.
Goan sheera tastes well with Puri .Sheera we also add few cloves n sultanas.Pineapple is optional.samolina with ghee need to be roasted is a must.we will not get good taste.you can give a twist if you wish .😊
The background music definitely added more flavour to the sheera!!
Hahaha! That's a sweet compliment, Anita :) Thank you💫
Could you please share this background music. Please

Use pure ghee for sheera. Skip vanaspati ghee
👌
It was raining afternoon time , honestly I did not make the recipe just watched and was happy 😊
Looks amazing
An excellent recipe. However half a cup of sugar is excessive. I suggest one third cup of sugar
Delicious...kesari bhaath...here in Bengaluru we serve it as a combo with upma...it is called chow chow bhaath...delicious...khara bhaath and kesari bhaath 😀

❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉
My mom adds a pinch of turmeric for colour.
That's a wonderful idea for a natural substitute, Thank you Lorraine💫
Viewers really enjoyed the music
Viewers really enjoyed the music n gave a dashing flavour to Goan Sheera
I will definitely try bcoz it is my favourite
Sheera/Puri
God Bless
Nice. But isn't the quantity of ghee a bit too much?
V 👍
👍
Thank you, Philip
Music with the sheera recipe is too good. Love the video. But no tasting sample.
This is normal sheera. Was waiting for some goan flavour.
Yea actually there is no other goan special sheera...it's the same which is made in Maharashtra as well..
This the same as suji halwa except ghee is used in place of oil.
Sheera good n background music is too good
Thank you so much, Cipriano💫 We'll try to keep the great Goan music coming with upcoming videos!
I put milk also & don't add colour. Don't make it so try. Semi solid.
Yes @ZD's, there are many variations that can be used :) Even I skip colour usually ✨
This wrong way to put sugar. Instead put sugar alongwith with water. Then it will taste better then adding afterwards

To go natural may replace yellow color with pinch of turmeric

The best part about food is that it allows space for preference :) The pineapple would make a juicy addition💫 Thank you for the ideas, John!
