- Hearthstone just added a new cooperative mode to its auto-battler Battlegrounds, and they sponsored this video so I could play it a little early with my teammate Slysssa, a Battlegrounds legend!

Slyssa might have figured out the first meta strat - push one player to a superpowered, endgame-level board as quickly as possible, and once you've reached that point, catch the teammate up with a build that can cheat out fight wins without needing to really scale. You can call it "HAM and Scam".

This idea sounds so fun but the games seem like they take forever and if you have to join up without someone on discord this sounds like a nightmare

This is great, snap made me quit buying hearthstone and playing standard completely. But I still love battlegrounds. It’s SUCH a good mode and so incredibly free. Can’t wait for this mode to release.

For some reason, Blizzard hired a bunch of creators who don't actually play Hearthstone anymore to promote their product. Mostly Marvel Snap Creators, like Regis here. I'm betting Regis had to reinstall the hearthstone client just for this video.
CovertGoBlue and Voxy (I'm sorry to advertise other ppl papa Regis I'm so sorry) are also amazing and I think well worth checking out for their perspective on this match! They've both been on Rarran's channel and come from the Magic community and are just gems. Both lovely lovely people trying to build community between HS and Magic

the good thing is that duos and solos use the same card pool aside from some exclusive things to duos, so if solos get support, duos get support at the same time. And solo bgs is in a great place imo
so what I'm saying is that even if it somehow doesn't get popular, it doesn't cost a lot to maintain, so they'd keep it available
I thought for sure it was going to be a duel mode like 2 v 2.
If it's going to be like battlegrounds version like Team Battle then I'll pass. Cool idea don't get me wrong. Just not my cup of tea.
I do wish they had a regular mode for 2v1 like the weekly tavern Mode.
