Volvo is the best truck I have driven ... I must say our 2013 kept deraiting w little warning unexplainably....even when we topped off DEF practically all the time. Derates were not fun...my team partner learned the maintenance and things got better....heard the system has improved since

Its complex driving down hill to avoid using excess braking. I'm still trying to use it without braking in steep dow hill

Is yours an automatic? I can't figure out how to use the manual mode for uphill operation. I have the M button on the dash but no other buttons for shifting
