Logan could have either been a cabin boy, first mate ,crewman or deck hand. These are the terminologies I think that would describe wolverine's job on the ship.

15:34 Lol, no Rob, that was not the expression that was written. "On his knees" means he's at someone's mercy, "On his heels", however, means to be in close pursuit.
In this case, i think “on his heels” just means he is ‘off balance” in the meeting b/c he knows he messed up. He’s getting yelled at, in close pursuit makes no sense in that context.
@@zorkin2013 It is pretty strange because it does say Mikhail now finds himself in a situation of defensive retreat but that would mean someone else is on his heels. It's also supposed to seem that the person writing the referendum doesn't know English idioms so maybe it's supposed to be from a Russian point of view? Very much confusing and absolutely the version that Rob said makes way more sense.
1st Mate is the Captains right hand, a cabin boy is just that a young boy typically charged with singing for the crew and helping with dishes. I believe the word everyone is looking for is Deckhand, just one of the crew

Yeah i liked that. Theres a story where he fell in love with a mortal woman, went to fight a war in the realms and by the time he got back to earth she died of old age.

Yeah I think about will bring story since I've always enjoyed them especially the ones where Wolverines back like four or five hundred years before present day even though the whole house of X thing I think the Scarlet Witch just put together a life that she felt would be good for Wolverine based on what Charles's David took pulled from the memories of the living people the new Wolverine and that was his quote-unquote remembering everything

You mention that it's interesting that Moira came back from the grave, but why is no one talking about the fact that in one of her lives, she lived 1000+ years. Doesn't that constitute as a power or capability beyond just resurrection to her inception? Unless someone (like you) mentioned this and I missed it. Totally possible since I'm just half listening as I do other activities. Also, wolverine lived right beside her with minimal wear and tear and still has adimantium as far as I can tell (omega wolverine has it) while old man logan becomes old man logan in much less time. I'm thinking these are plot holes that Marvel isn't expecting us to question, but what if those are actually important details? My goodness, comics are great!
Moira survived those 1000 years in the Preserve due to blood transfusions from Wolverine.

You also have to keep in mind Old Man Logan is in a completely different reality than the main one this story is in. Old Man Logan was ONE of infinite number of futures that could of happened. With the multiverse, one instance it DID happen which is how we actually get Old Man Logan. In Earth 616, the main Marvel Universe, it did not happen. Moira's ability of resurrection is essentially her 616 self going through multiple potential realities of the main Marvel universe. Since those lives actually happened they are now alternate realities.
Something from Old Man Logan's reality made him age faster. I believe his healing factor slowed down to the point his adamantium was finally poisoning him enough to cause him to age and heal slower.

@ComicExplained If Logan was "Assistant" to the Captain then it appears that he "may" have been a unofficial Commander. In the Royal Navy, the Officer ranks go as follows: Captain, Commander, Lieutenant Commander, Lieutenant, and then Sub Lieutenant. And then you have Admiral, Vice Admiral, Rear Admiral, and Commodore.
Except Logan isn't in the British Navy so he wouldn't go by those ranks. More like First Mate or Deck Hand.
If they decide to bring Omega Red back they should bring him back as a good guy without the device in his chest. Don't need to focus on him a lot just make him part of the ensemble.
Logan is acting as a helmsman or at least from what i can see. This is a responsibillity that usually goes to the most trusted person on board that isnt the captain.
Anyone wanna see a wolverine and thor team up where they just go up against an army of whoevers? It could be a great warrior story with plenty of doooope gory scenes

It really depends on his role, but he could be a cabin boy, deckhand, steward, bosun, first mate…? If he’s being offered a role with the Royal Navy though, then he would be less likely to have a formal title.

Who's best suited to stop a techno Wolverine, the man himself Wolverine. It's true the 80's and 90's versions of Omega Red and Sabretooth it was clear who they were after, and it was going to be a bloody brawl for Logan. Always a great read, linear mind or not Omega Red was going to cut to the chase kill, kill them hard, seek and destroy it was not a bad approach.
Makail is using hindsight logic on a guy who's thick and thin is attack Omega Red was great at it. Also Professor X needs to get his credit he found the exact mind he needed to locate.

Just a cop-out. This story had potential but I mean professor X being able to send a mind in time. That is crazy. If anything they should had a combination of mutants like slipstream or frenzy or tempo or a combination of mutants to do this. And for Rasputin to do the same with just a sword does not make sense. Have him with Russian mutants to help. I think a lot was needed for explaining this. Like who tiped off professor X to even do this. Makes no sense. Also.. they should have titled this something else like mystery of x: rise of the machine, or safety of x: clear and present danger
