I totally agree that having a good "middle zoom" is essential to anybody's kit and should probably be the first lens to consider when gearing up. I guess my "go to" lens would by my Sony 20-70mm f/4. It seems to be permanently attached to my FX30 even though it's a full frame lens. ( Before I got the 20-70mm my "go to" lens was the Sony 18-105mm f/4.) I also have a Sigma 24mm f/1.4 prime, but I've mostly use that lens for stills with my 𝛼7II. Other lenses I bring for video shoots are the Sony 10-20mm f/4 and the Sony 70-200mm f/4 macro. All the Sony lenses are "G" glass. So far, nothing but positive feedback from my clients concerning this lens package.
Which is your go to lens setup?
Set of primes. 24 35 50 my trick is using clear image zoom. So you get 24-35 , 35-50 and 50-85
