Thanks for the very nice and interesting photowalk through Bangkok. I like the photos also very much. I usually use the 35mm lens but your video (and others) convinced me to try 50mm. Thanks again.
I hope when the Sony a7v comes out they change the flippy floppy screen that hinges from the side ,back to the original design or the new fully articulating screen on the a7rv ... cool walk thanks for sharing
Back in the day, I had an Olympus OM10 35mm slr. The only two lenses I had were the excellent Zuiko 50mm f1.8 that came with it, and a third party 80-200 zoom. So, most of my pictures were taken with the nifty fifty.
Not related to this post but a comment I want to make about tilted horizons. I had a big problem with this especially when shooting bicycle races, because I often had to quickly frame a photo without much time to think. All the tilted horizon shots made me spend too much time post-processing. A few weeks ago, I started using my right eye in the viewfinder (using Olympus E-M1.2 mostly) instead of my left eye, and it cured 999% of the problem. I thought this was odd but I ran the test of framing a photo with my right eye and then loved my left eye to viewfinder instead and the correct photo suddenly looked wrong. In my case, I was unconsciously tilting my head when using my left eye, while my head is more level when I use my right eye. This is how it feels to me anyway. Just FYI.
I use that lens a lot and love the compact nature and rendering it has. For daytime, street shooting, the f2.5 maximum aperture is wide enough. I recognise the "atmosphere" created in your shots. As I use the A7rlll, it must be a Sony thing. (or, we might both be great photographers!)
It's been fascinating seeing your photowalks from the exotic locations you have visited on this extended trip.(Exotic that is to someone form the UK!). We've had a cold and very wet winter here in North West England, and your videos have been a nice form of escapism and educational for photography. Thanks!
Hi Matti, I also liked those Powerlines and and those Clouds behind. Nice Green colour of those Trees, it's a true Green Tree colour. Perhaps maybe in Bangkok you only get that type of Green colour. The walkway with the Yellow line looked good with your new wide angle video. Great video from Bangkok. Thanks Matti 😊
I'm not knowledgeable about the latest tech so pardon my ignorance, but how does Matt shoot the video of himself from the front when he is walking- there is no selfie stick to hold the other camera. Is someone else with him? He seems to be by himself, yet the other camera seems to float in front of him. Drone? Witchcraft?
It's annoying when you realise you've got a wrong setting isn't it? I often switch between 2:3 and 1:1 but on my Fujifilm cameras the size is part of the same setting and a few times I've selected medium or small by mistake. They really should be separate. In Bangkok the cats are real genuine Siamese 😅

Thanks. Good to hear I can encourage you to try something new😀
My Nikon 2020 film camera had nothing but a 50mm 1.8. I took every picture with that setup. I loved it.
Thanks for sharing. What film camera was that?
d700 with 50mm f1.8 was my go to!! even f2, I loved that setup!!!
Once upon a time I had the same exact setup😀 Thanks for sharing.
Nice photowalk, good shutter therapy. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for walking with me😀
Thanks Matti for sharing your photo walk with interesting pics.... some great colours & mood ...... cheers from Australia 🦘🦘😃
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks.

Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing Matti! Great pictures. How’s the weather right now in Bangkok?
Thanks! I have actually left Bangkok already😀 However, the rainy season is about to start so the weather will be slightly cooler and rainy.
Great photos Matti! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks!

I like the way you explained why you took the photographs. They were great photographs.
Thank you!
So many times I forget to check my setting assuming that they have not changed, then I realize oops! Great photo walk! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much.

Great stuff, Matti. A nice and relaxing video, well done. :)
Thanks mate!

Thanks! It's not a Sony thing, it's because we are great photographers😂
that picture of the dozing man on the park bench is beautiful!
Thanks for your kind words😀

Hi, very nice pictures. Thanks for sharing. How did you record it?
Thanks. Here is a video about the video setup: ruclips.net/video/NTS0OHpKO1Y/видео.html
@@mattisulanto Thanks a lot. Learned tons of things from your videos. Legend
The rainy season is coming and Thailand will become a bit cooler.
Sure is but I'm already elsewhere in a much cooler place😀

@@mattisulanto Your welcome Matti 😊
Thanks
Many thanks to you!
Where did you find that enormous twenty kilogram camera?
You probably don't own any cameras yourself but even so it's pretty ignorant to think that any camera would weight 20kg. That setup weights 833g.
@@mattisulanto He was joking because of how it looks in the thumbnail.
@@caw25sha Without 😀it's hard to tell what he means. I get so many disturbed comments that are no joke that I have become a bit paranoid.

@@mattisulanto Thank you, very interesting.
I don't understand how you filmed yourself
Here is a video about that:

It's indeed very annoying to realize your setting were wrong😀
