We in South Africa are blessed with so many excellent choirs.
What's the name of this choir?
Is it fair that South Africa has so much of the world's most beautiful music?
I think you are right. But then I’m South African, I could be biased.
"behind every beautiful thing there's been some kind of pain." Bob Dylan. Most songs that were coined during the struggle for liberation are beautiful and touching.
@@hlengiwezondo1536 I agree completely. I have written a lot about South Africa’s. great struggle music plus the great contributions of her indigenous peoples to her beautiful music. As far as pain, also look at Edith Piaf, Billie Holiday, Brenda Jassie, and many others. . My home is Minnesota, so I know Bob Dylan’s work well.
@@docsafari Brenda Fassie.
This is the vision I was looking for. I woke up feeling like singing this song
The song gave us promise in our darkest days
South Africans mobilized music and sent it into battle.
They just do it for me whenever I'm studying. be still and know that I am God.
Me too, literally listening to this as i garner strength for my dissertation.
The song just came on my mind immediately and I was searching for the version that was ringing on my head. Thank you what a beautiful song and people ❤

i wish i had someone do the words of the song for me in english. i would the make sure there is a kiswahili version of it for the east african fraternity.
+Martin D. Mwangi Hush and listen, the nation. Dont cry or be anxious, our God will fight for us. Our Freedom Or Freedom, Jehova will fight and win it for us as a nation. thereafter they are repeating it as a chorus.
Heather, technically Zulu = Swahili, just the southern version which is mixed with Portuguese/Spanish and English.
it's songs like this that make me proud of my African land.
