    The Detail Guardz Turbine Dirt Lock bucket filters are equipped with hundreds of filtering funnels, blasting the dirt and debris to the bottom of the bucket, without mixing it back in with the clean water. The filtering funnels generate a downwards force when you move your wash mitt up and down in the bucket, pushing debris to the bottom of the bucket. Every time you pump your wash mitt in the bucket, the water is cleaned more and more! This patented design allows you to safely wash your car without inducing swirls and scratches on the paint!
    Key features:
    - High quality fabrication (made in Canada) flexible, industrial grade material
    - Filtering funnels keep the dirt at the bottom of the bucket and clean water on top
    - Flexible locking tabs ensure a perfect fit in 3.5 GAL or 5 GAL buckets
    - Flexible finger grip handles for easy installation and removal
    - Seal off curtain so no debris can squeeze through the sides
    - Available in 4 colors (black, yellow, blue, and red) allowing you to assign colors for different applications
    - Easy maintenance: Rinse & re-use
    - Chemical & crush resistant
    - Come with extra rubber grips for larger sized buckets
    Also check out the Detail Guardz car wash inserts, an innovation to help you detail your car easier! When washing our cars or trucks, we’ve all experienced a common problem: the hose gets stuck under a tire while going around the vehicle. The Detail Guardz solve this problem thanks to an innovative design consisting of a roller system that eliminates any friction, giving you effortless movements around the vehicle. No more stuck hoses! Detail Guardz car wash inserts prevent hors & cord jams while you work.

      Pan TheOrganizer I’ve become a huge fan. I’m watching a few of your videos each night to play catch up, if you will. I stared out watching others, but your detail approach is on another level (much higher)! You have a very methodical and precise approach to car detailing. I’m a journey level carpenter/woodworker and after 29+ years in the trade, I too consider myself methodical with a precise approach to stay efficient in what I do. I see that with how you perform your craft. So…, I bought a brand new 2018 Tundra, I know it’s not a glamorous sport sedan, such as an Audi, but it’s my luxury work truck, LOL. I love to detail it. I’ve done a bunch of “mods” to build it a certain way. You can see short video of it, just click on my channel. Eventually I want to get up the nerve to clay bar it and polish and wax it with a DA polisher. I’m hoping I’ll learn this through your channel. Again, very sorry to bombard you with a ton of quick short questions. I’ll try and write them all down and send groups of questions with less frequency, I know you must be very busy. Thx

      @@bigjock85 I have a bmw with jet black paint and I use three buckets 1 for wheels and the other 2 for wash/rinse each one with a dirt lock. I prefer to be more than careful to avoid/minimize swirls. Even after that when I see my car very dirty I pre-wash it with a foam gun.

    Will they fit the Rag Company buckets?

  • @mikebonge7206
    @mikebonge7206 5 лет назад

    They need to a make a bucket that is deeper to accept the screen. I had some they took up to much room left me with very little water

      I have 5 gallon and 3.5 gallon buckets and they fit perfectly. What size buckets are you using Mike?

  • @markusbendi

    is there a big difference in safety from scratches from this one and the one from chemical guys? i use the chemical guys special grit guard and the original on the top of that one and a grit guard washboard on top of that only in the rinse bucket. Im pretty sure thats pretty safe against scratches

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  5 лет назад +2

      I never used the Chemical Guys one, so impossible for me to say. But I know these Turbine Dirt Locks work better than my previous Grit Guards.

    • @markusbendi
      @markusbendi 5 лет назад

      yeah thats for sure the original grit guards have big wholes so not very effective at holding the dirt down

    • @fgrm1979
      @fgrm1979 5 лет назад

      I previously had the CG dirt trap with grit guard insert and washboard. I decided to dump them and just use these dirt locks.

      Markus Bend I like better the design over the grit guard and over CG dirt trap. In terms of performance both the CG and dirt locks work well.

      What newer model? From what I can tell, the Dirt Lock is still the same design. They just now ship with rubber inserts (which I also have) for a tighter fit in the bucket. My latest video with Detail Guardz stuff is here: ruclips.net/video/xmCtN4Y0APM/видео.html

    5 gallon bucket. But when but put the scree in the bucket only leaves 4 gallons of water depth

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  5 лет назад

      You use up 4 gallons of water while washing a car? I'm not sure I follow you here... I fill up a 5 gallon bucket with probably 4.5 gallons of water. There's still plenty left when I'm done washing the car. You obviously need a buffer zone between the bottom and the Dirt Lock, so that dirt stays trapped down there.

      You get to keep your existing buckets. These filters attach to the bottom of any wash bucket.

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  5 лет назад +1

      The revolution is not in the material (although it is a high quality plastic) it's in the patented design. These are way more efficient at trapping dirt than my previous standard grit guards that everyone has. These new Dirt Locks are in all my buckets. :)
