i used to have the sheet music but i lost it $#%#$%. the entire disintegration songbook!! :( been trying to remember it for ages but i could never play it as well as you can :) thanks soo much now im getting out the keyboard! my music reading skills are realllly rusty so watching this is probably much better anyway!
I don't know what song he's playing but it certainly is NOT "homesick" by the Cure... jebus... I'll have to post a clip of doing it correctly soon enough...
@@nickrock23 the song isn't easy though... to do it right takes a lot of practice, i get the feeling someone was improvising some of the piano parts in places, which just like going back to learn spontaneuos guitar solos, they are difficult to go back and copy exactly, cause you're like "what did I do there?" and there are two seperate piano parts during the lyrics, so its a bit more difficult to follow exactly what each piano is doing ... but I'll get a version up soon enough... its got to be done right though... got the first minute down more or less so far... that desceding octave with the left hand is tricky...
@@dernvader6876 I didn't know th don't and I said that. I played as they did Live , not th album version which I still have never heard. Check out th live version uploaded about 10-15 years ago. I also just played out the keyboard parts not as I would on other videos I made
That left hand is WRONG all the way... it does A low octave then the A high octave, then the very next whole note down to high G octave, then to the Low G of the Octave first then to D low octave to D high Octave... and it plays only one note at a time, not both octaves at the same time like you show it, and it switches every other one to A Low - A hi to G low to G hi to D low to D hi, then back again to A low to A hi to G hi to G low to D low to D hi... and it throws in a lot of incidentals also, but its basically the octaves more or less of A, G, D, you can hear this in the song, they are not just pounding on the low octaves like you are showing... That's why its a bit tricky the left hand doesn't do the normal thing, which is why it sounds so cool... going from the Hi 'A' to the hi 'G' is tricky because its backwards of normal, but that's why its so genius, because the right hand plays the same 4 notes, but it sounds different because the left hand is descending instead of ascending...
@@jboyxd6573 Uploading one now... I'll send the link when its ready... its just a temp first draft... just to see what it sounds like and its not perfect... so I plan to upload a perfect one later, but it will at least get ch'all started...

Post one from your phone, it should take 2 minutes, it's so easy.
