- Опубликовано: 15 сен 2024
- Korg's Drumlogue was on show - just one, the supplies are not yet flowing, but we took the opportunity to take a look along with Korg's Luke Edwards at the new machine. With 4 analogue voices, 6 digital (including 2 sample voices with up to 32mb stereo time) and a couple of user voices which feature the digital SDK memory found in the Minilogue XD and NTS-1.
It also has the 64 step sequencer, four individual outs and on board DSP FX.
UK price is set to be around £529, but stock probably not until early next year.

32 MB. What is it 1994?
32 mgb. what year is it 😂
It's also $600. They must be joking.
That was my first thought too... 👊🤣👍
I like how Nick tried to be nice about and moved on 🤣
@@Sequenceserenade all you pretty much can do at that point lol ✌
@@koalemos1679 recently went back to an akai rackmount sampler with 2mb and im often surprised how little of that space is taken up with a single drumkit. to really fill up sample memory you gotta load up lots of velocity layers with long baked-in reverb tails.
Meeting of the Masters!! Luke and Nick are OG’s ❤
Just FYI Luke wasn't able to load Nano because he did not have his iLok dongle plugged into the drumlgue's USB port. Okay, we're kidding 🙂
Was a great time there! I see myself jamming in the back lol
Why is sample memory always so precious?
Because Gollum makes samplers
I swear... it is a deal made with the devil conspiracy. 32mb is a joke.
My money goes to the first sampler/groovebox that just puts a terabyte or two on the unit.
@@robertsyrett1992 no kidding! Lol 💯% ✌
@@robertsyrett1992 Get a DELUGE
Korg make us an EMX-2...
Hopefully they will release the Drumalogue X2NT with the NuTube Distortion triodes that sells for an astronomical 90 quids in Europe and if you damage your NuBass Tube it's screw times. Perhaps more demand will lower the price of the thing by the end of the 2023...
A little touch of Tanzbar anyone? even used the same text font but doesn't come anywhere close sound wise ;)
Was there, and got to play the Drumlogue. Sounds great and is a really usable/practical size. But I did congratulate Luke and the guys for making the least colourful drum machine ever! :-)
Very cool!
Yer man knows it's shit.
Is it only me who loves it?
Yep
Nobody has one yet, time will tell.
Interesting idea but the TR8s sounds like a better deal...
i think i might get this...
👍🏻👍🏻✌🏻
Dude looks nervous, he Has that deer in headlights look.
I had to use a light as it was dark. He's a good guy
Beyond average & sounds proper rubbish.. 90% of Korg stuff is shit these days.. Not including the arp2600 and ms20, they both rock.. Enjoy 😉
no thanks too expensive for what it’s is and the analog part is poor!
I have to disagree, the analog part sounds good and seems very very flexible
Too expensive for what it is? How? Please explain because quite honestly i dont think you know what it is
it’s only four part analog and the analog has digital mixed in to make it sound big
yes I know what it is four part analog with digital in the analysis g to make it sound big three sample based channels that you can load your own samples and one open end digital channel all rehashed from the prologue and volca sample it should be price more like $300-$400 max it took too long to come out and the competition is too great
@@mresquidgeward5965 Actually if you look at the reaction to this across RUclips and forums, the general opinion seems to be that it’s overpriced and too late to market. It’s price puts it in line with the Akai MPC One for instance which seems to be much more capable albeit without the analogue parts. Personally, I’d rather have a Volca Sample, Beats and Drum side by side for a much more capable but affordable setup than one of these. I’m a self-confessed Korg fanboy and couldn’t wait for this to be released, but like many others I just can’t get excited about it. It just doesn’t seem to do anything outstandingly well and tries to cater to too many different schools of drum production. Throw in the pitiful 32MB sample capacity and it just doesn’t look that great overall. Each to their own of course, if this is the drum machine for you by all means enjoy.
He looks awkward about the 32 and it's too obvious to ignore, which he clearly knows. Fair play for being up front but we'd never pass it out the gate at Roland with that. Present circumstance or not. For the tag - you're short-changing people over alternatives. Small footprint and use yes; but an Iphone could pack more decades ago.
Hmmm lies. Anyway...Its not a sampler so Cheer up
No, not everything that disagrees with your ignorance is 'lies'. I won't even bother to engage your comment further, as I suspect you are based in the west and my interest in your culture and its mental illness is zero.
