Love watching your no guard journey. One thing i will say is with the raking technique if you start open like you were doing instead of changing the angle to less steep angle if you simply close the lever slightly and keep using a 90degree angle it will fade right into what you did with it all the way open and its a lot quicker and more forgiving than changing the angle and leaving it fully open.

I appreciate the advice I'm greatful you would share that knowledge with me! 🤜🤛💥💥💯 I have noticed that very small movements on the lever can make incredible changes to the fade. Just this week I've realized that is I'mportant to even go sideways slightly in some instances. It's hell of a journey

@drusantana Yeah man I personally never tried to no guard an entire fade but i utilize the raking technique on a lot of my haircuts over the years. Most of the time my system involves raking a lot to skip guards and then ill use a Number 1 only or just the #2 and clipper over comb. I dont trust my clients enough to stay still for an entire haircut lol

Nice! I need to try that tiger claw technique that you were using.

A good place to start would be if a customer asks for a #1 on the sides . Lay the blade flat against the head at the lower part of the fade and increase the angle as you rise up it will take you to a 1 1/2 if your using an andis taper blade
