Here a few things:
Stray kids is a korean group consisting of 8 guys.
The korean title of the song translates to something like great singers but the English title is "thunderous"
This song is addressing the haters, stray kids basically just say that they are masters at what they are doing and that no one comes close to them. Their album is called "Noeasy" or "Noisy" because people say that they only make noise-music so they have a few songs dedicated to the haters in this album.
You should definitely check out other MVs like God's menu or Back door
Stray kids always put in a lot of effort in their music, they are self-producing, the leader Bang Chan (the one with the orange hair) and two other members write the lyrics to all their songs and they also produce them together (sometimes with producers from JYP).

We fans enjoy everything about it not just the beat and we appreciate the lyrics even if it's not in our language and/or culture. Diving into this type of music requires a little homework sometimes, and honestly that's part of the appeal. "Ptui" is just onomatopoeia for spitting - they say "twe"; and yes, two of the guys are Australian, so they speak perfect english :) Blonde with the hat (Felix) and the orange/red hair guy (Bang Chan)

Good reaction. They are called Stray Kids, a self created and self produced group. Bang Chan, the one with the orange hair, created the group and is the leader he is also one of the main producers. The other members consist of leeknow, Changbin (another producer/lyricist), Hyunjin, Han (another producer/lyricist), Felix, Seungmin & I.N.
They just recently became the youngest group to become a million seller with album.
Also fun fact Bang Chan and Felix are Australian 😊 you might like some of their other music. Hellevator is good to check out I also recommend Gods menu, Backdoor, Levanter and Victory Song.
Ptui. If you don’t recognize that sound it means you probably didn’t watch a lot of Loony Toons as a kid. Not an accusation, just an observation. Because that is the sound that cartoon characters make when they spit. If you notice the choreography, he is spitting on his hands and then rubbing them together like, “Let’s get to work.”
If you have to say you're not being racist multiple times, that's usually not a good sign.
Also those are Korean characters (all the members are Korean, altho some were born in Australia, which is also the language they sign in)
Also, many non-native English speakers learn English as it is a sort of global language, so it's not unusual for members to be fluent or very good at English, especially cause there are also many international members in kpop groups.
It's not Chinese new year, completely different culture, the Thunderous mv is actually paying homage to their Korean ancestry and culture.

Okay so to help you out. Yes, the song is called Thunderous and it is directed towards all of their haters who were laughing at their music. They're basically saying that they don't care and that they will stick to their thing. Stray Kids are 8 members South Korean group under JYP entertainment that produces their own music from scratch by the production team called "3Racha" which is within the group consisting of Bang Chan, Seo Changbin, and Han Jisung. They've been in the industry since March 25, 2018. Their main genres are Hip-Hop, Pop, and EDM, but honestly, their music is so unique since they produce it themselves that you can only call it their own genre. If you enjoyed Thunderous I recommend you to check out more of their music. For the beginning, I recommend "God's Menu" aka "神메뉴" because it has a similar vibe to this song. Idk if anyone explained it but the song Is called thunderous but what they’re saying is sorikkun. Sorikkun translated in English means like the vocalist or singer. The word itself i believe means to sing to an audience. For more details search up pansori singers. Skz are playing as revolutionist and dokkaebi’s (goblins). Dokkaebi’s have special abilities and one being the blue flames seen in the MV.
Every time you heard English that was from 2 members Felix and Bang Chan the two Australian members but most of the members speak English pretty well. And it’s not Chinese New Year or other Asian things it’s traditional Korean culture 😭

The "Ptui Ptui Ptui" means they are spitting in the haters.
The 2 that spoke perfect english(Bang Chan and Felix) grew up in Australia and spoke primarily English at home though Bang Chan(orange hair) also spoke fluent Korean at home. The one with long blonde hair is Felix, he has a ridiculously deep voice.
He had the orange hair in Backdoor as well. His name is Bang Chan and he's from Australia.
Ptui ptui ptui is onomotopoetic representation of the sound your mouth makes when you spit. It isn't a voiced sound, but rather, the sound of air being forced past the teeth. The "P" is silent, as is the "i".

Thunderous" is a diss track, a clapback at the haters who sneer at Stray Kids' so-called "noise music".
Thunderous", about shutting the haters and antis, because they don't need to be great.
They are Laughing at the haters with their arms in that one part of the song.
They're saying that they're going to keep experimenting and making the music they want to make, no matter what people say about them.
Now, all of this is actually a parallel to Stray Kids real life story. When they debuted they weren't that much successful. And during all their career they've been heavily criticized for the different sound they bring to kpop. They are just to different for society to like them. This didn't stop them, and after "God's Menu" they've managed to grow a lot, therefore transforming themselves in real life Sorikkun "Thunderous".
