That's the price of just the cells. An A/C window unit will cost, fully assembled $179.00 (Home Depot). So... we can see the price of a Peltier Unit is almost the same or a little bit more expensive. Now, one of this window units can last many years (more than 10 years if you take care of them properly). How much can last this Peltier units? I ask, because the only advantage I see, is that they expend less electricity and can run on batteries saving some money in your electricity bill. But again, it depends on the time this unit can last. 179 in ten years, cost you 17.90 per year. If you have to replace the peltier unit every year, then there is no advantage.
