I met someone who drove uber and i was his first ride. he was retired and was a little bored so he started ubering. he told me he was a financial investor into a track that’s still in concept for oahu and he had mentioned it was planned to be built in kalealoa. this completely adds up now as i wasn’t sure if this was even true or not. that was all the way back in 2022 and i haven’t spoken to him since. i was so excited for this to be true as he said when it’s done being built, he’d let me come and drive one of his friends cars. i saw pictures and everything of the design layout and the land including his friends cars but so cool this adds up. i hope a track 20 minutes from me is built cause i be there everyday.

Hopefully this race track in a secluded area and not close by residential housings cause it can be very loud.
they literally said it would be near the barbers point airport and they wouldn't be able to build houses there anyway due to airport noise.

A Judge refused to let a 2nd WAVE POOL be built, but its OK to have 2 race tracks in the SAME AREA?! More POLITICAL SMOKE SCREENS and IRRATIONAL justifications. Local style.
Water shortages since the pool is most likely going to be fresh water.
A wave pool and a track is 2 completely different things. This is the 2nd greatest thing I've heard this year with what the state is doing. A race track will actually help get rid of the 12am H1 street racing and a lot of other day time street racing. Will street racing still happen? Yes but it'll definitely be less. A wave pool does nothing beside bring more tourist and use up more water. This is something that's at least more for the locals
Also its not a necessity as thats what the beach is for and its free.
