I’m not a feminist. Not in the modern sense anyway. I am a DV survivor. And the more I see/read story after story, hundreds, thousands, of women’s experiences dating and in DV marriages and all the disgusting responses from males online… the more I understand why so many women say they’d take the bear instead. I do think there are good men out there (emotionally stable, capable of being being a loving and present husband and father, respectful, etc. basics) … I am just not holding my breath that I’ll find one.
What a horrible thing to say, even if it was true. I heard she had left him which triggered his vengeful act. Either way, he was completely wrong. She was innocent and did nothing to deserve this.
