If they're sequestered, that makes it more difficult for the media to out the jurors so they'll be more easily intimidated into a guilty verdict by fears of personal harm. This is by design.

What kind of person and what kind of hole do they live in if they don't have strong feelings about the guy one way or the other? I don't think it matters if they actually listen to the evidence, but the chances of having a plant on the Trump side is high. It's the falsification of his business records that is the crime - Trump recorded the hush money payments to stormey in his business records as legal fees to Cohen - that is a crime.

I don't really believe this statement. For what purpose is the good Samaritan law if it is never applied.
Because claiming immunity is much easier than going through with a trial. If you can avoid a trial altogether, that is the best course of action. Trials can be very long and tedious. He wants to be campaigning.
