I change my clothes when I get home as well. I wear yoga pants or shorts while at home; doing this helps to keep my good clothes clean so that I can get another wear out of them before I need to wash them. Also, this helps to prolong the life of the garment.
I see people wearing very vibrant clothes and I think they look so festive. Every time I head over to the charity shop I tell myself I want more blues and reds in my my wardrobe. And every time I walk out with greens and browns. I cannot picture myself in those brighter colors.
I like your relaxed style. I too change clothes when I come home, because I use public transport and don't want to sit with these "dirty" clothes on my couch or bed 😊. I even feel bad when visiting my parents with my outside clothes and sitting on their couch 🫣 Take care
Dear Ana, I love how intentionally you choose the pieces for your wardrobe and refresh them. Regarding the colours, going down the rabbit hole of colour analysis is quite something. I did that as well and found out that instead of warm bright colors, cool and muted ones fit me best. Looking for clothing is my kryptonite, so I didn’t bother and just kept wearing my warm-coloured clothing. Then a friend of mine who had gained too much weight, gifted me a whole summer wardrobe of soft summer toned clothing. When I wore a cool outfit for the first time, it felt as if all unrest settled down. I felt deeply at peace. It was very impressive. Since then, I pay attention to the Color because the effect of the colour goes so much deeper.
Dear Christiane, wow! I'm so thankful for your comment as it made me think of the color on a more profound level and now I can remember how I felt and why when my preferences shifted. You gave it such a wonderful explanation😍 I'm so glad you got the cool-toned wardrobe from your friend, it's a happy coincidence!
Watching your videos always feels like visiting a peaceful corner in a garden! Love these tip, thanks for sharing! Edit another thing I really respect is how you honor your feelings and don't say that its silly or dumb to change preferences. That's so refreshing and I hope I can bring that kindness to my own thoughts too!
I like those tops❤ that you feel no longer fit your current cool colour palette and appreciate your tip of adding a scarf or silver tone necklace to give them a cool tone. I too change clothes upon arriving home. I also do not have dedicated "at home" clothes (except for a cotton nightgown) but rather rotate items so that what I currently wear at home I do not wear out. Thank you for a great video! Your presentation style is appreciated. Rosie 👩🦳 74 🇨🇦
I love your brown jacket with the scarf that you chose. I think that we all would like to feel at home in our bodies, and hopefully as we move about in this world. Sometimes that requires a bit more thought for me. I believe I would like more style. Thankyou for your style conscious ideas!
I really do like the new colors you are wearing - they seem to suit your skin tones and look so good on you. I love the idea of cooling them down with the pretty mauve scarf and soft pink scarf etc. Just lovely. You look beautiful.
I just started dyeing my clothes as a way to refresh and to maybe update colors that don’t work for me. It was intimidating until I actually did it and then I realized it wasn’t so complicated. Love your channel!
I really relate to the issue of having your colour palette preferences shift and the challenge of still making do with some pieces that you really wish were in a different colour now. It can be so tempting to hurry up and replace them, but it's hard when you want to be sustainable and you like the cut, etc, just not the colour
Since the pandemic and remote work, I have pretty much weeded out my "office clothes". This is the new normal, so I won't be shopping for office clothes anymore. I feel kind of sad about that as I enjoyed choosing and laying out my outfit each evening before work. It's time to change. I am slowly becoming interested in shopping for clothes again, while maintaining a wardrobe about half the size of my previous one. As I thrift shop for clothes, I find myself drawn to a more bohemian and 70's style. This actually makes clothes shopping akin to treasure hunting; it's much more enjoyable. A rare trip to the mall the other day revealed nothing interesting, and most things seemed cheaply made. Your idea of combining cool and warm tones is very interesting, especially the pink scarf and beige shirt (I'm going to try that one). Thank you so much Ana for always providing interesting food for thought!
Hello Nanette! 💜 Oh, I agree so much with the "treasure hunting" feeling from thrift shopping. It definitely makes the whole process more enjoyable and meaningful too. Ha, I've just been to a nearby mall the other day and had the same thoughts about clothing - cheaply made and low-quality materials. Thank you for sharing 🌷
I like the idea of changing buttons, adding fabric, and dressing up an outfit with a scarf. Embroidery can also add life to an outfit also. After I retired, I donated many of my professional clothes to a women’s shelter. I mainly wear jeans, slacks, and casual tops. I have a couple of nice dresses in case we go out. I have seen where some people take a shirt they like and make a pattern from it. I haven’t tried that yet. I also have clothes that I wear around the house. I need to start sewing more; I have purchased some cute patterns that have been on sale. It’s hard to believe that some of the pattern companies are charging $20+ for patterns! Thank you for an inspirational video!😢
I haven't commented for quite some time! However, I have been watching religiously, as usual 😊😊 hope you're both doing well and enjoying your cozy Belgrade apartment ❤ P. S. I do agree with others on here, I think you look amazing in warm tones, specially rusty red and burnt orange! But ultimately, it's all about what makes you happy, of course!
For me, it works to allow myself to be drawn towards the colours that appeal to me. I have had colour analysis (years ago), but I still prefer my earthy autumnal colours. I also prefer to wear brighter/pops of colour, as I think darker colours can affect my mood. There seems to be a lot of black worn now ... I buy my clothes second-hand, as far as possible, as I like to re-use and be sustainable. Plus, I think some of the older clothes are much better made. I have just bought a second-hand, red, woollen duffle coat, in readiness for the winter. Just my take on things ... Thank you so much for the video. As always, thought provoking. Best wishes from Suffolk, in England.
I think it’s great how you practice and encourage a healthy blend of self-expression, practicality, and sustainability. 😊 I changed the buttons on a jacket and a top this year, and I love them both so much more this way! Plus, the care and time I put into that makes me feel more grateful and happy to wear them, just as sewing my own clothes does!👌 And I can 100% relate to your color palette dilemma!! 🙃 I also went down the rabbit hole of color analysis and figured out “my color type” on my own. For well over a decade, I have always loved wearing black, metallics, and a rare exception of a dark color here and there. The color analysis craze made me want to see if I would like wearing some different colors. It did help me narrow down which colors to try, but every time I thrifted something in one of those colors, I wouldn’t wear it and would end up selling or donating it. I would try to style these items over and over again, but I just never felt like myself in them and would immediately change into a different outfit. I realized that knowing my “best colors” will not all of a sudden *make* me like wearing color! 😅 I have accepted that I like what I like, and I don’t need to change that just because other people think colors look good on me. I definitely learned my lesson and have returned my focus back to where it belongs- my own feelings and intuitions! 😊
Wow, this is such a thoughtful comment on the topic! Thank you for sharing 🌷 And I love the main takeaway of following your own feelings and intuitions. Inspiring!
@@anagoldberg Also, if you really love the silhouettes / styles of the clothing you have in colors you aren’t enjoying anymore, you could look into learning how you can duplicate them in fabric you really love! There are lots of free RUclips tutorials on how to make a sewing pattern from an existing garment (without cutting it up), and there are many ways to source fabric and thread for a very low cost! Plus you can always get some extra cash by selling the original garment once you draft your sewing pattern (just take photos of it so you can reference any of its details while you’re sewing the new one). 😊
Hi Ana I wish I could be so restrained with my clothes. I have far too many! This video has certainly made me think that I must look more closely at its contents and have a bit of a purge! Wishing you well x
So funny you mentioned your change of color pallet. My first thought when I saw you in this video was how stunning the colors your wear look on you, especially the blueish teal shirt. I'm sure you will find a solution to keep wearing your favorite clothes and feel good in them. The lighter ones you might eventually try to color, I have very good experience with that myself. Greetings from Sweden.
I’ve made a major change to my colour palette in the past couple of years also, and it was because my colouring changed with age. Now I wear black, charcoal and dark teal near my face almost exclusively whereas I used to wear a lot of red or yellow when my hair was much brighter. I’ve never worn pastels because they wash me out. As I am pale, pale hair (now), pale skin, Pale blue eyes, I need a strong contrast. I love what you did to the culottes, genius!
Thank you for sharing this, Judith! I had to figure out the contrast thing too, I didn't give it much thought before and thus ended up with things that wash me out too:) Sending love 🌷
Great video!! About your warm colour pieces, i would wear a black vest with them. I loved your choices! I also do the buttons swap! I had a long wool coat, dark navy, from when i was 10 years old (i was chubby as a child). I have found it in the attic! The coat was perfect on me, but it was short on the sleeves. So i took it to a lady that can do miracles, changed the buttons. the coat is just wow. I took it to a party, and 2 friends of mine were asking were did i bought it!!! The coat is 30 years old :)
So happy to see you ❤ I always give a 👍🏼 before watching as I always enjoy your wisdom you are a very special talented person ❤ Have a lovely week ahead 🙏❤️🇮🇱💝
You might try some light blues, pinks, greens and lavendar. I think you would look beautiful in those colors for next summer. I always lovef your videos. Stay safe and healthy. Liz in Maine , USA
Colour analysis also changed my feelings about my wardrobe! Thank you for sharing that. :) I'm so particular about the cut of my clothes. I also only buy shades that work with me. (Even if I enjoy looking at other colours, those aren't often the ones I can wear.)
I started to think about what is my style.I decided that I like linen clothing and causal pants( pajama style ) or capris for summer. I am all about comfort.
Privet Ana, thank you for another inspirational video. Choosing cooler colours can mean that you are entering a quieter phase of your life. This can mean that you are no longer on a go or constant lookout for something new in order to justify your present action or choice. The cooler phase is also a signal for a more inner reflection or a mindful planning of your next move, no rush, just being calm and composed. Wishing you all the best. Love from New Zealand to you and Brian.
Privet Mirjana! Oh wow, I didn't think about cooler tones in this way, thank you so much! It's so interesting how our choices and preferences reflect our inner processes😊 Sending love to New Zealand 💜
Hi Ana! I had never thought about changing buttons on a shirt to change the look. I'm definitely going to try that. I feel the same way about t-shirts. They don't last long or keep their shape. You have some very good tips here and I really enjoyed this video! Thank you for sharing you thoughts/ideas. :) Have a great week ahead! Love from Australia!
Hi Ana, I have similar struggles when it comes to colours. I love colourful clothes and I love black/ black and white combinations with coloured accents. Depending on my mood (I´m an HSP as well), I also like beige and mute colours. Recently I sewed a small stripe of red fabric on the neckline of a black and white striped long-sleeved shirt :) A video of a japanese woman inspires me, maybe you´ll like that one too: Handmade Green Living - Zero Waste Life Cheers from Austria ♥ I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! Thank you so much, Iris⭐
I used to wear a lot of black when I was younger but now I choose cool colors because of the undertones to my skin. My color palette is a cool winter so I look best in blue, lavender, pink, deep green, heather and charcoal. Even though I have a deep mocha complexion I avoid yellow and brown because they make me look washed out. Researching my color palette has been the best decision as I always feel good in whatever I am wearing and it helps me to maintain a smaller wardrobe. No reason to keep adding pieces when I already feel great in the clothing that I already own.
Thank you for sharing this, my friend ✨ I agree! Before I thoroughly researched my colors and experimented, I was just all over the place with what I wanted and what I though looked fine on me. And although I'm winter too, I'll still keep some autumnal colors in my wardrobe and see how I feel.
I love your simple style and your calming personality. Very inspiring. I have a turtleneck sweater that is too warm, maybe without the turtle and with a zipper🤔🙂...
I so enjoyed hearing about your fashion philosophy (Especially because I so admire your dress sense haha)! I really enjoy clothing, and unfortunately that means that I’ve acquired more than I probably should. I almost always buy vintage or second hand clothing (only two brand new items in the last three-ish years I think, and I hope it stays that way), but I think my problem is that, especially with unique vintage pieces, or staple items like cashmere turtlenecks at a particularly good price, I buy them even if I don’t necessarily need them, because I figure it’s good to have them for the future. It’s like a scarcity mindset about clothing, which is strange for me as I have very fortunately never experienced scarcity or deprivation. Anyway, as always your video has made me reflective! I am inspired by your minimalist wardrobe. I want to learn more about mending and altering, and I’d love to try your button trick! Also, regarding colours, I think you’re someone who is fortunate to look good in both warm and cool tones! I hope you wear whatever you want to wear. A few years ago a few people told me that I didn’t look good in pale pink because I have a very fair complexion and usually quite high pink colouring in my cheeks. That really put me out for a while and I avoided wearing pink even though I had quite liked how I looked in it. Now I try to shut down that critical voice when it rises in me again, and I wear pink if I want to :) thanks for the lovely video Ana!
I'm always confused about what colour I should be wearing. I wear mostly all black because that's what I feel comfortable in but I am trying to mix up textures to make it more interesting. I'm also starting to add in green/khaki, grey and navy. My mum tells me I look great in 'jewel' colours like bright pink and green and purple but I just don't feel comfortable. I also agree with you about clothes being psychically uncomfortable, I think that's how I feel about the bright colors; they make me self conscious. xxx
Hi Lindy! If I may tell you something - never wear anything that makes you self-conscious! It was a hard lesson learned by me when I listened to other people's opinions, including the ones from people who I loved. You wear what feels like you and that's it 😉 Experimentation can be fun, but again as long as it doesn't make you feel uncomfortable. Sending love 💜
I am the opposite to you with teeshirts! I wear them nearly all the time. When i was younger, up to being about 35 i used to wear sirts, but not since then. Strangely, I think I have been lucky as the ones I have chosen seem to last very well (I have recently had to throw out an old favourite which I had for at least 10 years until it was completely worn out)! I can't find shirts in the shops to fit me, and unfortunately I don't like sewing, so teeshirts are my perfect solution. We are all different!
Really nice video, I have enjoyed it very much. I also like changing buttons to my dresses, adding pockets to skirts and dresses or changing necklines (I tuck in collar of the shirt dress to create a more open V-neck). The first thumbnail with the back button-hole was so nice, quite stood out.
Hi Ana, another great video! I have pure white hair and as a result I stay away from patterned tops as I feel they make me look like an old(er) lady. I tend towards solid colours and classic, clean lines. I wear mostly black, white, grey and the occasional jewel tone on top. I’ve never been much into “fashion” and do not enjoy shopping however I enjoy knitting and sewing things for myself. When it comes to clothes, I think I’m getting lazy as I age and solid coloured neutrals make dressing a breeze.
I really like your approach to dressing and colors especially. When I was wearing gray hair, it was so hard to find something that matched me without making me look weird. I'll surely get back to not dyeing my hair when I'm completely white 😊
@@anagoldberg Thanks Ana! Hair colour can completely change the colour palettes that suit us. I should have clarified my original comment by saying that I don’t perceive others who have white hair and wear florals and patterns to appear older than they are, it’s just how it makes me feel. When I look at myself in the mirror the neutral palettes appeal to me. I wish my hair wasn’t white but I can’t tolerate hair dyes as I get older and it’s so much maintenance to keep the colour looking good. I still feel 18 years of age (and I’m in my mid 60’s now). I guess it’s how you feel that matter most!
Oh good! I thought I was the only one who changed buttons! LOL! I like the tortoise shell colored ones myself with black and brown mixed in the buttons, I just feel Ike it makes everything work with my black or brown shoes. I LOVE what you did with those linen culottes! Very cool and ingenious! Thanks for another thought provoking video! 💛Stacy
Love your video. I agree with you. We change preferences and colors. Love the ideas of incorporating elements to what we have. Thank you for sharing. Love 💗only love 💗
Such an interesting concept; having an ‘at home’ wardrobe. I think that idea exposes a cultural gulf. In the US, we have a ‘work’ wardrobe, and maybe a ‘church’ or ‘party’ wardrobe. But we never think much about what we wear at home. The notion of getting home and changing into ‘fresh’ clothes is a stretch for me. I think of this process as getting out of my uncomfortable clothes and into my comfy ones. I have t-shirt dresses or nightgowns that I wear all the time at home. Basically like going home and getting into pajamas. I think that’s what many Americans do; get home and put on sleepwear. In terms of keeping my wardrobe minimal, I buy mostly neutral pieces (black, gray, blue, green, tan) with occasional bright tops ir scarves for color. And my t-shirt dresses are colorful. I find I need: 3 long pants. One black that I can use for dressing up. The other two are usually stretchy corduroy. Right now I have olive and gray. 3 or 4 capri pants. Cotton, elastic waist, pockets. Black, charcoal, navy, tan. 3 or 4 long-sleeved pull over shirts with SPF50 sun protection. Black and colorful prints. 4 or 5 shirtsleeve t-shirts, mainly black or gray. 2 sets silk long underwear for winter. Black. A good rain jacket with hood. A light fleece hoody or other light hoody. A puffy coat (fits under rain coat). Merino or alpaca socks. Cotton underwear. 3 sports bras. 4 ‘housedress’ t-shirt type dresses. A few colorful scarves. 1 swimsuit. 1 flip flop sandal. 1 pair regular crocs. 1 pair rain boots. 1 shoe for ‘dressing’. That’s pretty much what I have. One of my short sleeve shirts is a black merino sweater. If I need to be dressy, black sweater, black pants, bright colorful scarf, dressy shoes. That’s it. 26 basic pieces and 4 shoes, not counting underwear and scarves. That’s what I bring in the car, which is most of the year. I have a few more things at home like furry slippers. But not much. Thank you Ana! I enjoy your style/fashion videos so much! Love to you both.
Your wardrobe is lovely! I always enjoy seeing your jewelry, you have such pretty pieces! I wish I had a better summer wardrobe, I have not bought any new items for four years.
Omg i relate to you so much. Im so happy i found ur channel. I recently discovered im a dark winter, i always thought dark autmn bc of my skin color but i died my hair warm brown and it turned terrible. Im lucky most of my wardrobe is dark winter friendly!
Haha, I had the same experience with my hair, even a couple of experiences! I looked kind of "sick" all the time, no matter my actual health. Color analysis does help in so many ways! 💜
Regarding your color conundrum-you could try dyeing some of the garments a cooler tone to fit your new palette! I had to do that when my hair color changed from warm to cool tone (I am a winter in color season so the warm hair and clothes did not suit me at all).
Thanks for the tip, my friend! Yep, i'm definitely considering trying to dye a couple of garments. I just need to find a textile dye in Belgrade (which is a challenge 😅)
@@anagoldberg best of luck to you! I created my own color that I call "murk" mixing two dyes by a US company. It's a mixture of grey, black, brown and mauve that looks like a shadow in various lights. Fun!
Hi Ana! I think colour analysis can be helpful, but also can feel restrictive and sometimes confusing. If your warm color clothing makes you feel good why not keep wearing them? maybe adding pops of cool colors around like you did with the scarf? Maybe you can make a video about how to add coolness into warm clothes? 😊
I am catching up with you whilst changing buttons on my clothes😂❤ I love it so much. It makes a huge difference for the overall look. I am working and trying to take care of myself - balance is my challenge❤ Sending so much love always !!!
Hello, this is my first time watching one of your videos 🥳 Just wanted to say, you do appear to have typical winter features as per color analysis. However, if you are a winter deep (depending on what system you use), that would mean autumn deep is your sister season, and those warm colors would also harmonize with you 😊 Have you had yourself analysed and know your season and/or subseason? Cheers, I will be watching more ✌️
I enjoyed this video. One day, I hope to have a more minimalist wardrobe. Im a long way from that at the moment but working on downsizing in other areas first. It's interesting your preference is changing from warm to cool as mine has changed from cool to warm though currently I still wear colours from both pallets. ❤
Building a wardrobe takes time, so don't rush yoursefl 😊 And it's good to have both color variants as our preferences can change once again, unexpectedly!
10 years ago, I received a colour analysis as a gift. According to it, I am a deep winter. Since the analysis, I have been using the colours recommended to me. I'm dark-haired and dark-eyed and I always thought red was the right colour for me. The analysis revealed that the darker shades of blue are actually better. Colour analysis is one way to see which colours suit you. I think the earthy shades of brown and red you used earlier were also suitable for you. By the way, have you thought about dyeing old clothes to match more of your current preferences?
Hello Heli! It's so interesting to read about color analysis experiences. I found that there are actually cooler variants of all warmer colors - such as my beloved brown or green. We'll see, I'll probably;y try to dye some clothes, just need to find fabric dye here in Serbia 😊
Hey Ana, please tell what was the grass-looking meal you mentioned once some time ago in a video? You said it was healthy and prepared marinated. Also the pine cones? Why did you remove your vegetarian cooking videos? Please make some more. They were awesome.
I like how your a creative dresser and wear what suits you. Clothing is an extension of ourselves and we need to be true to that. One thing i do wonder about is some of your pants waist look so big to me. How do you keep them up?
I've never tried dyeing a garment but I wonder how that might facilitate keeping the clothes you love but give them a new look... I can relate to your observation about tees. They don't look fresh as long as I'd like them to. But, I do love them. I'm faced with the desire to sort my clothes again with the goal of moving things from my house to somewhere else, but by the time I'm ready to let go of clothing they're usually so worn out they're past donation quality. I'll need to look for recycle options. Thank you for your video--I always enjoy them.
Hi Ana, thank you for your video. I love changing buttons on my clothes, like you I have a few bottoms. I love linen shirts, brushed cotton checked shirts and my favourite denim shirt. I agree with you about the t shirts and have been thinking of knitting a cotton one. I am also re thinking colours, like you have, always worn autumn earthy shades , but lately I feel the need to add a few other colors. Ill try with accessories to see how it goes. Also dying some of my clothes to give a fresh shade. Love your videos and your hair is looking lovely. Ps I also find shoe shopping difficult, like you narrow fitting. Love my birkenstocks, which I bought less 75 percent on a sale. Have a good week and take care. Big hug Gale xxx
Hi Gale! Thanks for sharing your experience 💙 Trying new colors with accessories is so accessible and affordable too. I hope you'll find some great new shades for yourself! Have a lovely week too 🌷
90 % of my clothes are black, it's so easy. I have few navy blue and dark grey tops. Everything is second hand. It's way simpler and easier if you don't have to go to actual work. I always change to home clothes when I get back inside, needs to be comfy and cotton.
You have a great and inspiring approach to your clothes, I will definitely try out the button trick! I’m in the process of renewing and minimizing my wardrobe at the moment - after four years of parenthood most of my clothes are pretty worn out. It’s a process, I don’t have the same body or lifestyle as I did before getting pregnant so there is a lot to figure out. I recently got a colour analysis done, to make thrifting a bit more focused 😊
Hi Ana, I stay away from cotton T's too. I've found that cotton absorbs so much moisture and stretched out of shape easily. Synthetics wick moisture away, feel good, and retain their shape (a win-win). I've moved completely away from traditional pants and now wear medical scrub pants - no zippers, no buttons, and a comfortable elastic waist band.
@@anagoldberg Yeah, I lived on the East Coast of the US and hated the humidity. I moved to California to get away from it. I've always thought that the "Mediterranean climate" was pretty dry and on the map Serbia looks pretty close to the Adriatic Sea and Italy, which I've always thought had a dry pleasant climate. I could be wrong about that.
@@tedallenwolff The climate is indeed mostly dry here but this season, it's raining heavily almost every day. Our landlord told us it's very uncommon for Serbia, so we're amidst a humid anomaly 😅
Most of my clothes are black 😅 makes it a bit easier to combine them, but there’s also the risk of lacking a bit of experimentation and getting boring… I think I need to “renew” the energy of a few items that I still like, as I don’t want to feel like they belong to past memories. That’s the dilemma at the moment. Anyway, great video! 🌻
Hi Luna! I can relate to the "memory" thing about clothes. In the past, I chose to declutter (donated and sold) some very much loved items because they were associated with very sad, painful moments. I just couldn't get past over that.
It is opposite with me, I have always loved cool colours and I still do but just recently I have introduced earthly colours into my wardrobe bc they suit me better
Now,with Summer Sales, a friend of mine asked me to go shopping and my answer das 'my closet is going to explode, I don t have room for other stuff! And It s the truth, I own things I really enjoy and I don t need anything at the moment... Even though I have to admit that from the birth of Vinted my collection of converse and adidas .,😅
Why not trying to bleach or redye the garments to change the colour? It takes little effort, you could buy some blue fabric colour and just redye them, as blue hues realy suit you well
I change my clothes when I get home as well. I wear yoga pants or shorts while at home; doing this helps to keep my good clothes clean so that I can get another wear out of them before I need to wash them. Also, this helps to prolong the life of the garment.

Hi Bethan! Yep, it's a challenge, and not hurrying up to replace everything is very important, because our preferences can change once again 😉
However, I have been watching religiously, as usual 😊😊 hope you're both doing well and enjoying your cozy Belgrade apartment ❤
P. S. I do agree with others on here, I think you look amazing in warm tones, specially rusty red and burnt orange! But ultimately, it's all about what makes you happy, of course!
Hi Lourdes! thank you so much for your kind words 💜
Hi Lottie! Oh, I completely agree with you that older clothes are much better made. Hugs to Suffolk! 🤗💜
Dye your lovely things! 🙂 I also changed my wardrobe from warm to cool and learned that it makes me look healthier and more "me".
Inspiring!
@@anagoldberg ☺️🤗❤️
@@anagoldberg Also, if you really love the silhouettes / styles of the clothing you have in colors you aren’t enjoying anymore, you could look into learning how you can duplicate them in fabric you really love! There are lots of free RUclips tutorials on how to make a sewing pattern from an existing garment (without cutting it up), and there are many ways to source fabric and thread for a very low cost! Plus you can always get some extra cash by selling the original garment once you draft your sewing pattern (just take photos of it so you can reference any of its details while you’re sewing the new one). 😊
Hi Ana
I wish I could be so restrained with my clothes.
Thank you, dear Sharon! You too, have a beautiful week 💙
(Even if I enjoy looking at other colours, those aren't often the ones I can wear.)
the re-make on your pants is very cute!
Thank you for this fine advice, dear Ana! And it is so comfy wearing home clothes and than so promising changing for outsides. I like that a lot too!
You look great in the cool colors!
I started to think about what is my style.I decided that I like linen clothing and causal pants( pajama style ) or capris for summer. I am all about comfort.
I like you better in warm tones to be honest, especially in this terracota top 9:42 and sweater 3:39 🙂
Thanks, Martyna! Probably the best way is just to make the warm and cool colors co-exist 😊
Have a great week ahead!
Love from Australia!
Hi Ana, I have similar struggles when it comes to colours. I love colourful clothes and I love black/ black and white combinations with coloured accents. Depending on my mood (I´m an HSP as well), I also like beige and mute colours. Recently I sewed a small stripe of red fabric on the neckline of a black and white striped long-sleeved shirt :) A video of a japanese woman inspires me, maybe you´ll like that one too: Handmade Green Living - Zero Waste Life
Cheers from Austria ♥ I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! Thank you so much, Iris⭐
Hi Iris! Oh, thank you so much for this channel suggestion, I haven't heard of it and will surely look it up. Sending love to Australia 🌺
@@anagoldberg Austria 😀
@@prinzessinaufderknallerbse oops, sorry Iris! 😅
I think it can be doable with the sweater!
Another great video Ana. Hope u had s great weekend. Hope u r well
When I first saw those culottes in a previous video, I really wanted a pair for myself! I would like to try to sustainably make my own.
I saw a couple of free culottes patterns online and they seemed very easy to make!
@@anagoldberg OMG, that's such lovely advise, thank you xxx
Love all your tips 👍👍 Thank you for sharing these ideas 🙏🙏🙏
You are such a precious gem!! 💎 ❤
Keep doing what you do.
XX 😘
You may want to try some fabric dye on the clothes you like (except for the color). Just a thought! 💕
Thank you for the suggestion, Chris!
Hi Katarina! Oh, I do the same trick with the shirt collar too 😊 Thank you for your kind words. And yep, I'm just experimenting with thumbnails:))
Thank you, Ana!
That's such a great topic!
I've just liked the video to enjoy your thoughts later. I am totally sure I will enjoy them as always ❤
Aww, thank you, Anna! You're so sweet 💙

💛Stacy
Thanks for sharing this, Stacy! And I love that you're into button makeover too 😊💜
Love your video. I agree with you. We change preferences and colors. Love the ideas of incorporating elements to what we have. Thank you for sharing. Love 💗only love 💗
Thank you, dear Maria 💙
I find I need:
3 long pants.
Thank you for sharing this, Ginger! Love to you too 🌷
Your wardrobe is lovely! I always enjoy seeing your jewelry, you have such pretty pieces! I wish I had a better summer wardrobe, I have not bought any new items for four years.
Figuring out a wardrobe that makes you feel good is often not easy and takes time! So don't be too hard on yourself 💜 Sending love, dear friend 🌷
Fun!
@@wyrdwitch13 Oh wow, sounds amazing to me! I would definitely try your "murk" 😊
@@anagoldberg don't know if you can get there but I mix equal parts RIT Black and RIT Dark Brown to get this color!
I am catching up with you whilst changing buttons on my clothes😂❤
I love it so much. It makes a huge difference for the overall look.
I am working and trying to take care of myself - balance is my challenge❤
Sending so much love always !!!
@@anagoldberg 😊
Ana, what if you DYE the clothes into different colors? You may like them better 😊
I might try this! Thanks, Irina 🌷
Thank you for this sharing and suggestion, Marilyn! Yep, I guess I should try dyeing a couple of garments. It can be such a fun experience 😊
Hello Elin! You're so right, figuring out an updated wardrobe is a long process, and I hope you'll have many joyful moments doing that 🤗🌺
Hi Ana, I stay away from cotton T's too.
Hi Ted! Comfortable clothes can be so life-changing! Now that in Belgrade it's VERY humid, cotton clothes are the worst 😊
Most of my clothes are black 😅 makes it a bit easier to combine them, but there’s also the risk of lacking a bit of experimentation and getting boring…
I think I need to “renew” the energy of a few items that I still like, as I don’t want to feel like they belong to past memories.
You have very nice pieces, Ana. I love what you'e done with your trousers! Wow, I have many more pairs of shoes than you, as I am a shoe person!😁

I used to wear a lot of black, until I decided I wanted to not hide myself in that black hole thing. I took years but now I'm free.
Why not trying to bleach or redye the garments to change the colour? It takes little effort, you could buy some blue fabric colour and just redye them, as blue hues realy suit you well
Thanks for this tip! I'll give it a try 😊💙
