“Oh yeah, my USB hub dispenses Pepsi!”

It’s good that it’s that bright. That’s actually how bright they were back in the 80’s.

Awesome PDubs! Hey, weren't those lighting hot spots intentional? I thought that was designed to replicate the tube lights that used to be inside of the machines. I love the Pepsi machine but am considering getting the 7-Up one just because the colors pop a bit more to me. Thanks for the quick blurb your gave last night about it in the SGRD livestream when I asked! :)

Yes most likely designed that way, still it's just slightly, too bright 🌞 , but that just my opinion, would've loved to see a dimmer switch or dial on here where you can control the setting.

They absolutely did it for this effect, knowing how accurately they make these things.
I fully intend to open mine up and detach one strip to give it a flicker effect

I like how one of the lights doesn't work on the choice selection buttons, just like in real life

Can you pop out the selection buttons and switch out the labels? I’d love to print out Mtn Dew, 7up, Pepsi Free, and Diet Pepsi labels

    Good overview. Thank you.
As a Coca-Cola Zero Sugar loyalist, I had to choose the 7up variant. While it has half the ports as compared to my Polybius, this still has a place in the 1/4 scale lineup.
Numskull and NWT continue to hit it out of the park.
My Frenzy is scheduled for delivery Monday. The fun never ends.

Whenever I'm at a club, and I see a sign that says "Please don't do Coke in the bathroom" I always ask if Pepsi's ok.
In all seriousness, that's a pretty neat device. I missed out on the New Wave toys Coke fridge, which is a shame, but realistically I'm not sure how much I'd use something like that when I've already got a fridge to keep my soda cold. Something like this could be pretty useful, especially now that so many devices don't even come with a power brick anymore.

    PDubs,
You got to admit, if we married the best feature from the New Wave Toys machine, the Coke-A-Cola branding, and the best feature from the Numskull machine, the USB hub, this would be the perfect accessory! The Coke-A-Cola USB Hub! Just joking (as I scarf down this imaginary New York Style slice of pizza 😁).
Now, I have nothing against Pepsi, I'll drink it, but I think Dr. Pepper would've been a better play over 7up. I used to buy drinks from a Dr. Pepper machine at a Daycare I went to as a kid and that's where my nostalgia lies. And I'm also disappointed that Numskull went with only 5 usb power ports vs their Polybius, which had 10. I can only guess that they might have wanted people to buy both machines to get the total 10 ports, but I'm not down with that. Even New Wave Toys was able to get 6 USB ports on the back of their Change machine power hubs and they're a smaller footprint. And one of the USB ports on that change machine is 3.0. I love Numskull, but I'm not a fan of their decision to skimp on the USB ports, especially given the Pepsi machine's larger footprint. Not for me, but glad you are enjoying it.
And hopefully this will be some good news. I never remember Pepsi brand machines back in the day having solid light distribution across the huge front panel. In fact, I remember the long strands of light as represented on Numskull's recreation. I remember getting to watch a vendor replace one of the long light tubes inside one of these machines once, so I think what you got is quite accurate. As for the brightness on the Numskull, I'd have to see it in person to judge for myself. And as to the New Wave Toys Coke-A-Cola machine, there is true hotspotting going on in my opinion. I never remember Coke-A-Cola machines having dull spots on the areas that come on the New Wave Toys replica. But maybe it's all just the Mandela Effect.
And I got my New Wave Toys Berzerk machine today, but I'm greatly bummed. Mine came defective and won't allow me to add in credits at the push of a button (which is the coin return this time). It isn't even a button on mine, but a solid piece part of the coin door. And I can play it by inserting those tiny coins, but as the manual also states, the coin door doesn't open, so I can't retrieve the coins I've inserted!!! So I only have two coins left that came with the machine, so I'd have to be very choosy on when I want to play it again! These design choices are baffling and New Wave Toys bumbled big time on one of my all time favorite cabinets. I'm angry! Now, I will put in a ticket, but dude, I waited SO LONG and this is unacceptable. My luck, I'll get my non-playable Black Hole, but I'll be unlucky enough to get one that actually plays. I don't know, I got to keep it light somehow.
Glad you like your new Pepsi hub! Thanks for sharing!

Those are normal hotspots, because they were lit with florescent lights, the coke one has unnatural hot spots.

I will never understand this love for Pepsi over Coke. Hehe. But, this old mini replica Pepsi looks nice next to the mini arcades, and to be honest, I wouldn't mind having it. Thumbs up.

The lighting isn't ideal, but I don't think it would be a deal breaker for me. It's probably too much for me to justify, but if I was buying Quarter Arcade products I would definitely buy this.
