Cannot give enough props for these videos. Proper analysis of keys is a huge niche missing in wow content at the moment, and you fill this insanely well.
Glad to see Tettles step into his own doing content like this. It’s super informative and I feel like he shines much better in a solo setting than group where his enthusiasm and passion for the game often causes him to either talk over or say the same things that his co-panelists just said since he’s watching the key rather than his contemporaries.
just FYI but the "gunk" on the 3rd boss doesnt actually do damage from previous phases, after the next has passed, you can see at 9:22 and around then, glimses of the augvoker/priest just stood in the old gunk - I noticed this on my own runs but I dont think its common knowledge as people don't typically stand in it
I am so glad I am validated in my belief that tanks that mass pull with those coalesced times are suicidal, I can't tell you how many times those things farmed the groups I was part of because the tank pulled it with a bunch of leeches and other mobs. Then get hit with " YoU HaVe To DiSpEl iT!!!!!", when I do dispel one and then they immediately die because a leech or tainted sands gets cast on them and pops them before I can heal them up, along with they don't cast a defensive to deal with the high amount of damage incoming to them. So now whenever the tank goes full suicidal I don't dispel them sometimes and just heal through the dot and CC as much as I can so that when they fall off they don't explode immediately after. I honest to god feel like that portion of the dungeon needs a major tuning pass, because all of that trash is way over tuned and takes way too much coordination for pugs to deal with TBH.
Most tanks have can ignore the debuff (blood AMS before it gets applied or even saves the debuff on annother person, spellreflect, Spielward, monk diffuse magic for good dmg) or they just use a defensiv that covers both it and the frontal. There is actually not that much to coordinate, dispel the second person who gets debuff, kick leeches, spread out for big circles, Almost everything else is Tank dmg). Tripple strike mobs = tank damage, eternity bolt = tank damage, bloom (tankdamage, when dispel second target).
Tettles, this was a good/decent video, but IMO it'd have been better/more coherent if you slowed down a bit. You were scrubbing and jumping through the video so quickly and erratically that it was hard to follow. Rather than scrubbing, playing it on 2x-8x speed during lulls and going a bit slower during your breakdown portions would have made it more watchable. The video had kind of a frantic "blink and you'll miss it" vibe. Maybe take a few deep breaths and try to relax? 13 minutes isn't a particularly short video, but the pacing made it feel like ~4 minutes of Content. Like how a long drive feels weirdly short during the return-trip. I still appreciated the video, just offering some feedback that'd make future vids more watchable for myself and probably others. You can hotkey the different playback speeds in VLC. If you used hotkeys to zoom through at ~4x speed and slowed down to real-time or ~.75x speed during the interesting bits I think it'd look quite good. Maybe it'd help improve your criminally low Likes-to-Views ratio. Like, Sub, and Comment people; videos don't create themselves!
That is so confusing on the dragon skip. I figured out the distract tech 2 weeks ago, and ever since then I have never failed distracting the dragon and every time I do it not a single person has pulled the dragon, even if they wait behind for an eternity. EDIT: Not calling this team in ANY WAY bad, it's just super simple to do so it's weird they didn't pull it off.
Think there will be some changes to prot pal utility in m+ next patch? Seems like it’s the most broken tank in a very long time due to high keys needing those extra defensive a and healing for the grp
It has been meta at the end of S1 for the same reason and creeps up the ranks the higher the keys go (except for OP god comp In S2). But for me that’s mostly due to dungeon scaling and less to tanks individual kit. There are just way to many interrupts and externals needed this season. This makes DH for mob control and Pala for CC and support imbalanced compared to everything else. Both of them should just do % 15-20 less dmg than other tanks to be comparable for dungeon completion.
I think it’s mostly fine. People jut hitting the walls pretty early in the season because the dungeons are relatively easy except for a few extreme outliers.
sorry but u really have no idea on what they're doing and showed your poor understanding on the dungeons' mechanics. there's just too much misinfo or clueless comments. would be nice if u did more preparations

Thank you bro had no idea about this!!
Love the commentary you provide!!!
Big fan of the commentary on these high level runs

There is a world first 31 key just done, you should make a video on it!
Aye, you the man

great content again, more of these, thanks!
Morgan Day probably subscribes to Tettles. The thumbnail alone is enough to get pally nerfed. 🤣🤣🤣
Very interesting analysis... I hope I don't have to reroll off my VDH though it's way more fun than prot paladin 😂
I am worried too.

How does it work exactly? Do you cast it before he lands or after?
I have a feeling Tettles does not love the way they tank
pink guy good
can anyone explain what their details numbers mean? where is dps?
Following
measured in 10ks so if you see them doing 10.1 it means theyre doing 101k dps
Has nothing to do with paladin being op. Is AUG that is broken on many levels.
Aug is actually the most endangered person in this key in my experience. Maybe hunter is worse, but that class is garbage defensively anyways.
Tettles getting stuff nerfed as per usual xD
They're rank 1 for a reason.
Meanwhile pugs around 23-25 level still can’t do the second boss😂😂
Prot Pala is fine. Buff the other Tanks.
Rather nerf the parts of dungeon that makes certain utility mandatory (packs with infinity casters and overtuned bossmechanics).

Prot hasn’t been meta once this xpac, what’re you smoking? You really calling for prot nerfs rn? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

@@Gunship888 utility nerfs yes, if you don’t agree what are you smoking?
Tettles thinks rogues can afford to run cheat death in high keys kek.
this seasons dungeon tuning is room temp IQ by blizz

Why the hell are their meters illegible.... I want to see how much healing is going out but 52 hps seems a bit low.... is he at 520k? i have 0 idea
first xdd

Bruh....
