Hello, I have ImaX B6 v2 charger and the balance socket has numbers from 1 to 6 and then minus sign, do I need to reverse the cables for it to work correctly?
@@siskanalasneveikia2269 I’m not familiar with your charger, but all chargers are built the same way. 1-6 is positive and minus sign is negative, i don’t see why you would need to change anything. You can potentially start a fire reversing polarity or mess with any of the cables. Be very careful with cabling!
Hi, I found your video to be the best that I have viewed. Thanks for the posting. I have a request for you to post the diagram you show in the video in PDF format so it can be printed and used as a guide.
Well your video help me make my first pack. Just got the welder today. Not sure what i did wrong. About 2min in flight it drops to 3.2v quick. What did i do wrong? Everything charged up good. I checked when i landed it says 4.08v. So when do i land? Thanks
Did you use the same cells as I did? It’s normal for it drop a bit due to amp pull. Make sure to charge with Lipo settings and not lion, or batteries will not fully charge and drop real quick! With lion you can go down to 3.0 with no issue
@@MTB_FPV if I recall correctly I used 0.2x10mm and double layers. And you won’t be doing continuous 90amp, if you look at the video I also added additional wires between the serial connection
@@GlishaSo Here is a video I uploaded that shows the traces, Mosfets are same as the orignal ones, you have to make sure you match the part number, I got mine from Aliexpress ruclips.net/video/ZsDO9apBb_Y/видео.html
Am building a 6s5p pack and am confused at one thing, at +ve and -ve collectors can i use 0.15mm * 10mm pure nickel strip spot welded to 5 cells in the terminal group and solder a 10guage wire running the length of the terminal group on tip of nickel strip. Would this be enough to handel 100 amps continuous?
If you take two 6s1p 4500 mah batteries and wire them in parallel you will have twice the capacity (9000mah) but the same voltage (22.2 volts). If you wire the same two batteries in series, you will have twice the VOLTAGE (44.4 volts) but the same capacity (amperage), in effect it will then be a 12s 1p 4500 mah battery
Everything is very detailed! Thank you!
Great video. Could you please share the wire gauges and a good source for the plugs?
@@CarGuy1 I used 12 gauge wire

I did make a diagram that’s in the video, I can make it a pdf if you like
That would be great. I photographed the screen of the diagram and it is a pain to use as a guide. Thank you.
@@benpowell3277 I’ll make a PDF and post the link

What thickness nickel are you using? Are you sure this is enough for a 90a pull?
