I drove 4 hours to grab my Bobcat Trail 5. The quality, bang for the buck, is stellar compared to other "big" companies. And after watching this, I'm more impressed with my choice.
I am from Kitchener Ontario Canada and I have been riding mountain bikes for 19 years and I've never had a better vibe with any other bike. From my first GT Allteraira Ali way through the gambit ofbiks KONA Gary Fisher and Davinci but overall hands down Marin blows the spokes off all the others thank you and your team for your contrabution to the sport!!!
My '96 Pine Mountain was one of the most fun bikes I've owned. With 26x1.9 tires, no suspension and 560 mm handlebars every trail was a challenge. But that bike was so well balanced that you still felt confident on it. Great memories!

Also, seeing Kyle Werner sporting the line and putting out amazing How-To videos clinched it for me.
Love my Marin Kentfield 2. I ride it all over the Olympic Peninsula in WA. Paved, gravel, single track, it does it all. Most comfortable bike I have ever owned.

I've had 3 Marin bikes. 1992 Muirwoods, black and fluro yellow. 1995 Pallisades Trail, Purple and Gray. Unfortunately both were stolen. I then went for a Gary Fisher until I've now switched back to a Marin. 2020 Bolinas Ridge, Blue and Orange 29nr! I've never had a big budget but these $600 Hardtails are amazing! I even bought some 1992 Retro Fork Decals in Orange as a nod to my first Marin.

Anything I throw at this MTB it handles. Of course I've upgraded a few parts here and there but who doesn't? I'll ride Marin for life.

Loved the video. I bought a nail trail back in 2017 and it is seriously the best hard tail bike I've ridden. So much so that I bought a 2020 hawk hill recently and decided to keep the nail trail, as a back up, and to have the luxury of switching it up. Keep up the good work guys!!
I bought a Kentfield 2 on Saturday, very impressive for 'just a regular bike' as some would call it. I didn't know about this brand, but my local shop is a dealer and this model checked all the boxes for me. Now that I know more about your company, I like my bike even more.
@@TasteBudJunkie I'm a huge fan. I don't ride that often, but it is perfect for my style... which is riding the local trail for an hour or so. Usually, I'm on pavement, but sometimes on gravel. Many years ago I'd bike to work, this would have been THE perfect commuter bike. The only 'changes' I made were adding a clamp for my phone, a small under-the-seat bag, and a bottle holder. It's a very pleasant ride, with a very palatable price tag, no regrets.

The very first thing I asked to do when I first visited my cousins in Berkley, SF was to go and ride Mt Tamalpais and the Redwood Forest in Marin, this was in 1994 after seeing the pictures in MTBUK magazine with the title, Our Testing Ground and safe to say, I felt like Mint Sauce :). Over the years I rode a Muir Woods, Bear Valley and was lucky enough to own a titanium frame, back then it was a £1500 bike :)..
When I worked for REI I sold a fair share of Marin bikes, hell I still have a few Marin stickers on my bike rack and gear. Being a Bay Area native your brand has always called to me.

Just bought a Marin foray wife. She fell in love the Marin bike we rented yesterday. She rode 29 miles on the Marin saddle and decided no longer to use female oriented saddles.
Unfortunately not all saddles work for all people. However there is a huge selection available in aftermarket. Most good dealers will have some sort of tool to help advise the best saddle should the stock one not be ideal

@@filmic1 That's most likely a preload knob, which will make the suspension fork feel firmer if you crank it down.

Just got a SQ2. Love the bike but the paint has started chipping just a month old. Paint around the brake mount has cracked and chipping away. 😥

Awesome on the Nicasio 2; it's such a fun bike (as is the Headlands). The rack that is on Aaron's bike was from one of our vendors, but has been out of production for several years.
