      @@gavinlawrie3549 i’m in canada and we have huge endless roads that are very easy to add up miles. And thats very impressive you got to ride that much. I know if i got the transalp when it comes here next year that i’d do the sMe

    Always rub the seal of a new oil filter with some oil for better sealing

    That new oil filter is going to be a pain to remove. You're supposed to lubricate the rubber seal with some engine oil if you don't want it to stick to the engine.

    So, you also oiled the rear tire with the chain lube. That will make the rear tire nice and slippery.

      @@IdealBike It's wrong, the oil filter tightens to 26nm and not 30nm, the engine oil drain bolt tightens to 30nm. Just to be precise. Greetings.

      @@IdealBike From the original Honda XL 750 Transalp service manual: MAINTENANCE
      ENGINE OIL CHANGE
      Warm up the engine.
      Stop the engine and remove the oil filler cap/dipstick.
      Place an oil pan under the engine to catch the engine
      oil, then remove the engine oil drain bolt [1] and sealing
      washer [2].
      Drain the engine oil completely.
      Clean the drain bolt and install new sealing washer onto
      the drain bolt.
      Install and tighten the drain bolt to the specified torque.
      TORQUE: 30 Nm (3.1 kgf-m, 22 Ibfft)
      Fill the engine with the recommended engine oil
      (page 3-11).
      ENGINE OIL CAPACITY:
      3.4 liters (3.6 US qt, 3.0 Imp qt) after draining
      3.6 liters (3.8 US qt, 3.2 Imp qt) after oil filter
      change
      3.9 liters (4.1 US qt, 3.4 Imp qt) after disassembly
      Make sure that there are no oil leaks.
      ENGINE OIL FILTER
      Drain the engine oil (page 3-12).
      Remove and discard the oil filter cartridge [1] using the
      special tool.
      TOOL:
      Oil Filter Wrench [2] 07HAA-PJ70101
      Check the oil filter boss [1] protrusion from the
      crankcase is within the specified length as shown.
      SPECIFIED LENGTH [2]: 16 + 0.5 mm (0.5 ± 0.02 in)
      NOTE:
      • If the oil filter boss is removed, apply locking agent
      to the oil filter boss threads as shown and install it.MAINTENANCE
      Clean the oil filter attaching surface of the crankcase.
      Apply engine oil to new oil filter cartridge threads and
      O-ring [1],
      Install and tighten the oil filter cartridge [2] to the
      specified torque using the special tool.
      TOOL:
      Oil Filter Wrench [3] 07HAA-PJ70101
      TORQUE: 26 Nm (2.7 kgf m, 19 Ibf-ft)
      Fill the engine with the recommended engine oil (page
      3-11).
      Make sure that there are no oil leaks.

    Which spray are you using to clean the chain?

      They used some brakes spray, I use something that protect the o-rings from some local bricolaj store.

      It's in the front side of the petrol tank, you can change it but you'll need to take out the petrol tank

      The price was for the following : oil change, radiator guard mount (2 bolts), filter change, chain clean, bike clean, radiator clean, 12V socket installation all for the total price of 140 EUR.

    There is plenty of room to put bigger oil filter, which is a good thing. I have been using car oil filter which cost about $3 compared to Honda filter $15.

      ​@@13KaTaFaLK13 I use OEM genuine parts until the warranty period is over, which is 2 years here for Honda motorcycles. I don't want Honda to deny warranty claim. After the warranty period, I may start using aftermarket parts if it's much cheaper or seems like better quality.

    Why did he remove the oil filter first and only then drain the drain oil?. Oil flows excessively and dirty on the exhaust pipe.

      I just said in the video. Because if you remove first the filter all the accumulated dirt will first go out its better drained. Also you can easily clean the pipes with spray afterwards

      The logic behind removing the oil filter first is flawed. Regardless of the order. The containments will stay in the filter.

    No oil on the o-ring… the logic behind taking the oil filter off first is flawed. You should open the fill port and then remove the drain plug and then remove the filter. They also seem to be spraying the cleaner and chain lube all over the place. Getting lubricant on the brake disc is dangerous.

    Why would this be a new rider's first bike? It's more bike than a newbie should ever ride.

      The bike it's quite powerful for a new rider, however you can choose the lower power setting and until 5000 rpm the bike it's quite nimble and easy to handle.

    That oil looks very weak and watery, have you looked to see where the air filter is and how easy it is to change? very important if riding in dusty conditions.

      Air filter it's under the petrol tank, I will consider to put a K&N filter after the first replacement. The oil it's 10W30 Honda OEM Oil

      I believe the engine was still quite warm as the oil was drained. Warmer oil flows faster out of the drain and filter.

    Nice review. If you dont have Torque Wrench you cant change oil and oil filter by yourself and must visit every time the service to remove-put skid plate 😡

      A decent torque wrench it's 25 eur and skidplate remove takes 10 seconds has 6 bolts
