Iirc the opening song talks about someone spotting a lion, the one line that gets repeated over and over after the initial verse literally just says "A lion, yes, a lion"😂 Anyway, this movie is absolutely bonkers and a lot of fun, I loved watching it as a kid and it's actually quite interesting how much of it I still remember
I love it 😂❤ Timon and Pumbaa are the best 😂🙌🏻 and the ending, where all the Disney characters from other movies randomly enter the scene was next level 😂 good reaction, Sophie 😉 As usual
yeah, it's a fantastic and fun sequel with a fresh perspective on the story of Timon and Pumbaa, the best duo.. and the scene of the other Disney characters appearing in the mini movie theater was really gold
Yeah, this movie was so random that no one in a million years could’ve possibly thought that they would make a spin-off movie of those two in particular, although none of us would have a problem with it since they’re the most iconic duo of the franchise. I recall telling someone that Timon and Pumbaa are the unsung heroes of Pride Rock because if it weren’t for them, Simba wouldn’t be saved from the vultures that were about to eat him since he was so close to death and he had the chance to face Scar without their support to hold the hyenas back. What I like about this movie is that it had the decency to look slightly better than the animation of the previous film and the score gives the nostalgia of the original. As a bonus, they even played the old footage while adding some new scenes to observe it in their perspective. Not too shabby, I’d say. Glad that you gave it a chance, Sophie.
yeah, exactly, I think that's something that many overlook, it took me a while to remember it when I thought about it.All of this was a little thanks to Timon and Pumba, who were like a little family for Simba, if he hadn't bumped into them, what would have happened to him after his dad's death: he wouldn't have survived or he would have grown up alone and sadness in his "exile" without them.. nd yeah, the animation is so amazing too, it seemed well detailed plus the effort they put into making it as similar as possible to the first movie.
This is like the most effort they put in a direct-to-DVD film because all the others one did not have the movie quality animation like its predecessors. Surprisingly this one had it.
I had forgotten just how bonkers and funny this movie is. So forgotten though, what a shame. I wish more franchises attempted stories like that, to see the parallel story of side characters, or even the characters watching their own movies bit, I've never seen anything similar. Approaching 50k subs really soon, bet you will reach it for next year! (Congrats in advance!)
This was my favorite of the lion kings it was hilarious and great music that get stuck in your head for days 😂 and a even better reaction thanks for doing this one
This movie is my childhood and I remember most of it even now and I’m so glad that you had fun with it and you liked it. It brings me so much nostalgia this and the first one. Somehow, I didn’t watch the second one when I was a kid or I didn’t like it and didn’t remember now I do appreciate it, but when I was a child, I simply watched the first one and this one. Even till this day, the tunnel song is stuck in my mind
8:20 Fun fact: this song is a rework of another song originally made for the first Lion King called "Warthog Rhapsody." The song was dropped when "Hakuna Matata" replaced it but, after more than a decade later, the song was given a whole new set of lyrics and put into Lion King...3 (I keep forgetting that it's not called "Lion King 1 1/2" in some countries).
This movie is my favorite sequel, I liked a lot that this was about the story of Timon and Pumba, besides being funny 19:34 yeah, that was so cute, that Timon and Pumba were like a little family for Simba, look, if he hadn't bumped into them, what would have happened to him after his dad's death: he wouldn't have survived or he would have grown up alone and sadness in his "exile"
Merry Christmas Sophie 🎄❄ thank you for watching this movie itu grow up watching it after seeing the first one. It's so cool that to Timoan and pumba were there with simba story movie !! I do love the song dig a tunnel
Originally this cartoon was called The Lion King 3 in my country, at first glance I felt it a forced sequel after Lion King 2, but that didn't happen, instead having a Timon and Pumbaa storyline from the first movie was a much better thing to have.
Timon and pumba used to have a tv show that was pretty good. They just got into different shenanigans. There were a few shows like that. 90s and early 00s did those show pretty well.
11:14 Absolutely not. Meerkats use reproductive suppression in their colonies. Typically there's only a few, if they have more than one at all, breeding females per gang supported by their less dominant relatives who do all the various tasks outside of breeding. It's kind of like less strict version what eusocial insects do. A good chunk of the meerkats here would be Timons siblings.
Not related to this but I waned to say that I think you kinda look like a Israeli-Russian actress/singer, Ania Bukstein. She was in one episode of Game of Thrones.
Keep in mind that this isn’t a canon, it’s more like a elseworlds story. This was marketing to make Timon and Pumbaa more popular since the tv show that came in the 90’s didn’t get the attention. Nevertheless this was a very funny and nostalgic film back in childhood. When the Disney characters made a cameo in the end, this is like House of Mouse.
This direct-to-DVD sequel is surprisingly pretty fun. At least for a version of The Lion King from the perspective of Timon and Pumbaa.
I want a second Timon and pumbaa movie in the time of simba pride
Akshually it’s an interquel 🤓
That roar Sophie did...gave me feelings
2:39 I always did love this angle of Pride Rock.

A great movie from my childhood. Thanks, Sophia, and a happy sunday to you as well. Take care and God bless, greetings from Colombia.
I’ve been looking forward to this reaction! Timon & Pumbaa are hilarious in this movie! ❤

I loved the DVD I have of this. Has games and even a point-and-click type virtual safari.
I told you it's a good movie!! I'm so glad you reacted to it!!❤
Thanks for the video Sophie! :)
15:23 Mufasa looks happy.
Is one of my favorite lion king movies!!
Its so hilarious!!
My brother and I watch this movie quite a lot. It was one of our favorites. We would always laugh at it. It really is a good one.
Fun fact: Timon's mom is voiced by Julie Kavner aka Marge Simpson
Timon and pumba used to have a tv show that was pretty good. They just got into different shenanigans. There were a few shows like that. 90s and early 00s did those show pretty well.
This movie is my childhood, Sophie!
I remember listening to the audio book version of this movie on my cassette player 😂😭 I loved it

I loved this movie as a kid and as an adult. The beginning song was a bop.

This took me way too long to realize: the other non Lion King characters were coming in in order of cinematic release
One of the best Disney sequels ever

you need to react to live action "Mufasa" its amazing and tells so much back history, specially between scar and mufasa
Not related to this but I waned to say that I think you kinda look like a Israeli-Russian actress/singer, Ania Bukstein. She was in one episode of Game of Thrones.
Hope you have a Merry Christmas 🎄 🎁🎅❄️
You should react to "Lion King 2 Simba's pride"
please do warm bodies next..... :D
Got 1 question: How did Mickey Mouse and the other Disney characters got here?
Hi there Hi there Hi there Hi hey hi
Sophie please make a Patreon
What type of -quel is this a mid-quel, a prequel or a sequel either way it’s a fun film pretty
More of an Interquel, set in between two different movies
An in-between-quel.
Keep in mind that this isn’t a canon, it’s more like a elseworlds story. This was marketing to make Timon and Pumbaa more popular since the tv show that came in the 90’s didn’t get the attention. As far as silly and mostly unnecessary sequels go, this is just about perfect. Low stakes comedic retelling of the story everyone loved
And in this movie hundreds of insects lost their lives 🐜💀😢
So did two lions, lots of hoofstock (implied), and possibly a few hyenas.
Why would you do this .
This what?
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead
