AS somebody who plays and has actually studied the matter, I know of at least four other ways to hold the bow than the one that everybody seems to think is the only possible or workable way. As somebody who appreciates good coding and graphics, I know just enough about the MMD processes to realize that the amount of labor and perfectionism that would be required to make the model not only hold the bow "correctly" (HA!), not to mention bow properly in one place on the strings, while taking care of all the other variables of the performance, would be impracticably difficult even for a god-level expert with far too much time on his/her hands. Not to mention the fact that Lindsey Stirling, the artist who laid down the track used in this animation, moves all over the place when she performs on stage. So, sorry, stand-strong advocates, but it IS possible to dance and fiddle at the same time.

The thing that bugs me is how the bow is just going all around the violin. But don't get me wrong, this is pretty good considering the limitations of current tech and the amount of time takes to animate.
Wow!!! A strong colour contrast, a deliberate slow-down of the music and well-paced camera shots. All in a near perfect presentation just makes this MMD really have a life on it's own. A special note is the extended scene of the stage beyond its premise. Unbelievable, I should have watch this a lot sooner!

I know you guys are just playing, but Miku Miku Dance is REALLY difficult to get little details like that right. I honestly expected the performance to be very glitchy and choppy... This was INCREDIBLE! I can't even imagine how long it took to make this not to mention how many times it must've taken watching Lindsey's video to get all of the dance moves almost EXACT! 😵😱
