No it's tensor G5. The G4 is based on Exynos 2400 (which is fine compared to the predecessors, but not optimal

If you want the best android experience, I’d suggest you go for the pixel. Other than that, maybe you can consider getting the Samsung. Personally I’d be getting the Pixel 9 when it comes out
@@unknown42999 Yup, I currently have the Pixel 6 and it has served me well for over 2 years now. However, the Snapdragon Gen 4 chipset of the Samsung S25 is very compelling for me to get a phone that will last me for years to come and the 16GB RAM of the Pixel Pro along with its simplicity is really attractive.

I love the pixel. I had the pixel fold for almost a year but even still my first couple weeks on my s24 ultra has been a better experience
Looks like the Pixel 9 Pro XL is the way to go.
The problem with Pixel is the connectivity and availability! You can't use this phone's 5g in other countries and it's not locally available in my country. No warranty, no certifier repair shop too.
True, had issues with the 7pro, no signal or data. Absolute nightmare with warranty, and they give you a refurbished phone replacement. Never again!

I will visit the Google pixel store in Chelsea before purchasing.
So I bought the six traded for the seven and then traded for the eight but each pixel which I really liked each has had heating and connection issues not that it didn’t work. Anyway, I may wait for the pixel 10

Samsung and Pixel need an Ecosystem Sale. As an IPhone i am attached to ecosystem. So i need to move more than just the phone. Imagine on release of Pixel 9 series. I want to move but i have an iPad watch and AirPods. If i add everything in my ecosystem to trade in I can get the incentive of a larger discount on the pixel equivalent. Maybe up to 40-50% off. Yes Google might lose some money up front but you got me in the ecosystem for at least 2 years.
I personally like the 2 camera system bar it's a better looking Pixel phone, base model 😂🎉

They are actually winning. They have been stealing customers from Samsung and Apple every year. That's why the prices are going up n they're adding more expensive stuff to the phone.
Google will fully customize the tensor chip this year. Samsung will still make it but it will be fully customized by Google this year.
In 2025 they will switch to tsmc to make the chip but fully customized the chip

I don't care what anyone says, but i love the design of the 9 pro. If I didn't have an iPhone 15 Pro Max, id really consider getting the 9 Pro XL. Want to give Android another chance after all those years.

I got an 8 pro a month ago. I'll pass on this model, I'll wait for 2025 for the 10 pro xl when they move to Tsmc on 3nm. It's even rumored to be 2nm. But we'll see.
the biggest problems of the new pixel pnones since 6series is the exynos chip and samsung modem....battery and drop of connection...i am currently on 6a still will need a change next year...if the battery still sucks i buy the 8 pro on some blackfriday deal...its almost perfect phone forme and i will use it on 60hz...dont need the refresh rate but i need those cameras...didnt buy the 6pro and 7pro becouse of the curved glass dont like that i like flat panel phones.

Tensor on the 9 will probably be based on Exynos 2400, which has proven to be a pretty good chip. Would definitely blow the Pixel 8's Tensor G3 away.
@@ratrodgrady Exynos 2400 biggest weakness is it's inefficiency. The E2400 chip lacks power and throttles hard after only 30mins of minimal smartphone use.
@@jevonsims900 It has its issues, and I oppose Samsung's decision to use it on some phones while charging the same price as superior chipsets, but it will definitely still blow the G3 away. 2400 has proven itself to be decent in speed and especially GPU performance, but, like you said, it is not as efficient as competing chipsets.
So we just gonna ignore that terrible camera bump on the back. 💀

One important thing didn't touch on was the 128 GB storage. With all of this processing happening on-device and with things like video boost drastically eating through storage, this phone is going to be DoA.
Google really wants people to pay all this money for a pretty paperweight, in addition to spending more money for storage and half-baked Gemini AI. No thanks.

I think the capability is here, and just porting the game they can some serious cash as well. Coz the people buying these kind of phone are the ones whose childhood went playing those games or they couldnt play at the time coz they didnt have that machine power and they will give money to reply or play them for the first time... someone like me

Google really Nedd to get a grip. Despite the fact they are android. Their pixel phones aren't even the smoothest. Oneplus and even Samsung have smoother phones. RUclips is dreadful on pixel when scrolling. There's so many jitters. If they can sort all this out, I'll be the first at the door to get the new pixel 9

@@Armando.Krijnen I bought the s24 Ultra and it strained my eyes. Having upgraded from the s23 Ultra, which was incredible, I was extremely disappointed. The only good thing was how fast it was. The AI features they heavily promoted, were only available using their own apps and browser, which imo are hot garbage when compared to Chrome or even Safari.
I decided to give Apple a go and I’ve been satisfied since. I do miss Android though, hence why I’m interested in Pixel. But… I have been a Samsung fanboy for years, so maybe I’ll give the s25 Ultra a shot. Will have to wait and see.

I'll be going from my S22 ultra to the Pixel 9 Pro or XL... I was going to get the 8 recently but going to stay with the 22 till the 9. The 8s camera looks really dope to me. And my colour grading has come a long way so P9 + LR should be really dope. Google Pixel 5 was my favourite phone generally speaking, so leaving was sad. My s22 is great its just surpassed by the 8 now so will be coming back. Just hope oled burn in isn't an issue. My GP5 had bad burn in within a year. Hopefully their displays are better regarding this. A stylus would be great too, so useful for colour grading!

Plus I hate Iphones and how they look so no, I'm sticking with my Pixel 7 pro and Oneplus 9 pro. This has been a dissappointing year for phones for me.

pixel is overrated. tensor is slow, no 8k and just overprocessed photos plus horrendous videos.
Battery is alway terrible in the pixel lineup.
