This is one of my favorite characters since childhood, and I have 0 hype for this movie
Not sure why the trailer was so unappealing for me, but with Knull in the picture it sounds interesting but the marketing is weak, unless you know the lore why would you care 😬
Dude i completely forgot this movie was coming out, and the 2nd one came and went so fast to me. They did these movies so dirty to the point i don't even take their releases serious.
Stil better than the other awful Sony movies (Morbius, Madame Web, etc.)

Mad how there's been 3 already and it just feels like there's been zero proper ones. They feel like non canon fan films at this point 🤷♂️
The first one was enjoyable, but the second one was utter balls. Carnage was absolutely wasted in that movie. I would like to think that they've learned their lesson and the third will be at least on par with the first.
The second was about realtionship between host and Symbiote and work as team not against each otherr

It's frustrating to have these really good characters more or less "chained" to these sub-par films.... I want Venom in the MCU (providing those movies get back on track), and following the lead of Deadpool, who is unapologetically "Deadpool". Let Venom BE Venom, and let him fight Spider-Man.... stop wasting the fans' time.

They wouldn't have the patience to set up why Venom hates Spider-Man so much.
Honestly could just be a throwaway line by Venom, about the multiversal hive-mind he shares with all symbiotes. But at the very least they could give us 1 good fight.
Sony Venom is more stupid than what pre-Endgame Marvel could have done, but this seemed like the best release by the trailer alone so far as 1 was a slightly comical dissappointment and 2 was horrible. Still I'm only going to watch it at the treacherous seas because this is far from anything worth financially supporting.
Although I think Kraven has a much better chance to be okay than Madam Web.
After the disappointment of Let There Be Carnage, I'm giving this film a hard pass. And I fear that Knull is going to be nerfed in The Last Dance.
Rumor is this movie will "continue" into Spiderman 4.

I am......they are a breath of fresh air....as in dumb and fun with zero "the message". With all the woke nonsense in the mcu venom is great . .....remember folks this is my opinion .

Even if it does open to $100 million, I don't see this film making over $400 million by the end of its run. That last one was just God awful and I think audiences might just be over this franchise after Morbius and Madame Web.
It also has that Holiday themed action film with The Rock and Chris Evans (Red One) coming out soon after that.

Yup no one asked for this and each movie we said we didn’t want to see more tentacle cgi aliens fighting each other in darkness yet they make another one.

Even tho the venom movies themselves are meh they did the character so damn well I can look past it to enjoy the character but still hold them accountable for being meh
The first one was okay but the second was absolute trash . I expected more coming from Andy Serkis directing the movie . But I will admit the design of Venom is amazing . Idk how they will top that with the MCU version when they eventually do their version of him .

I had absolutely no idea this film was even in production, let alone coming out. Edit: also - "Upgrade" was the venom film we deserved.

@@SpyderDan1985 he told some jokes in the comics and people are using that as justification for the overall goofy persona that’s depicted

The venom movies aren't good films but there fun and dumb, and they've fully aware of that and embrace it. I also think movies like this do well because they aren't serious, people are tired of grim dark. The world sucks and the last thing people want is to be reminded how aweful it is when they go to watch a movie.
I wouldn't mind the Venom films to be alittle more serious, not dark and grim but just more serious but still have comedy. I feel like there's too much comedy in superhero movies recently like in Thor Love and Thunder.
They could also have made great and memorable movies from the beginning instead of mostly laughing stocks that come and go, but that takes more than a couple braincells and talent for Sony.
There's room for comedy, but come on, the balance on these movies is so bad it broke the table, i like this Venom but i'm tired of this tone.

Honestly, I had no idea this film even existed which is a bit odd considering I'm quite fond of the Spidey Verse. This really snuck under my radar.

Me...I really disagree with the third-type films that you listed as bad/not good; specifically Back to the future 3 (my fav of franchise), Matrix 3, Return of Jedi, Robocop 3 (Fav of that franchise) and Rocky 3.

@@JediRebelMoonWalker In regards to Back to the Future Part 3, I always preferred the whole western set-up over the future one which I found just not as good or action-filled as part 1 or 3. And to be blunt felt like an almost rehash of part 1 for the most part. I also liked how they moved away from Biff being the bad guy. If one cannot tell part 2 of this franchise was in my opinion the weakest/worst.
About Return of Jedi, I always loved Vader's redemption and final battle, but it was not my favorite of that franchise. That has to go to Revenge of the Sith. And for the worst of the Star Wars I would go with both The Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker, with Last Jedi for me being a wasted opportunity and a disappointing low.
Rocky 3, I liked Hulk Hogan appearing and the whole rival to friend/mentor for Apollo Creed, again not my favorite of that franchise which for me goes to Rocky 4 with Drago. But this one was not the worst which to me goes to Rocky 5.
Matrix Revolutions had the best final battle scene against Agent Smith and the best music. I also liked how we actually see the war in Zion during this film. The worst of the Matrix franchise for me was the recent Matrix Resurrections.
Robocop 3... just loved the whole flying jetpack and robot samurai, that's all.
@@michaellilly965 i get that. I'm personally not a big fan of any of the Back To The Furniture movies, but yeah part 2 is part 1 but in 3rf person of what it be 4th person? I dunno ha still confusing me a bit. But thats always why part 2 is a favorite. Cause it it's part 1 then some so I get each side of it
ah! you're a Revenge of The Sith guy huh? Nice pick. I'm a Empire guy myself, but Revenge is a nice pick. Too As for the one you there are the worst yeah...I'm not even sure which of those two are my least favorite. I dislike them both equally. I didn't like that whole trilogy even the Force Awakens, much better in comparison but... Overall it still wasn't for me. To vibe of it. Just too... Clean... Disney... family For my taste. I like my Star Wars more dark & Gritty. Wish they would make a live action Jedi movie with Cal and have Cameron play him in live action too. And do it justice to the game.
I agree Rocky 3 is not the worst. Definitely goes to V but I don't think it's a good part 3 overall.
As for Matrix 3, I dont mind it myself, I can stomach it, hell, I can stomach the worst one even. I just love the matrix concept and Keanu so even the worst of the Matrix I can still stomach to watch
but I can like it and still acknowledge that most don't like Part 3 and most tent to agree part 3 is the worst. Well least till part 4 came out. Now I think part 4 is the most disliked by fans... Or tie by either way.
