Jone, you should check out Rik Emmett's instrumental pieces he did with Triumph. One is called "Petite Etude", one is "Midsummer's Daydream", and one is "Little Boy Blues". They are amazing! Just search Triumph with the name of the song. Petite Etude and Midsummer's Daydream are both classical style acoustic pieces. 🙂
I was there that night in Halifax! One of the best concerts I have ever seen. Stage show was out of this world. Triumph is one of a kind. Excellent band.
Watch the version from the '83 US Festival, plus Lay it on Line, etc...Rik Emmett is mind blowing. Blinding Light Show, stranger in a. Strange Land,, Time Goes By, Ordinary Man, etc..
Music is definantly the power! I saw these guys live in the 80s and after seen hundreds of concerts over the years they are the best live show I have ever seen . Luv the reaction!
Rik Emmet is quite the underated but very accomplished guitarist. After he left Triumph he worked on several projects and has a few jazz guitar albumes as well as classical accoustic works.
What, nobody’s commented yet on the fact that Triumph were Canada’s other, world-beating rock power trio? Okay, I’ll do it then!!! 🇨🇦❤🇨🇦❤🇨🇦😂🇨🇦❤🇨🇦❤🇨🇦 PS - just ignore the fourth guy. They didn’t always have a backup guitar on tour with them.
I liked and subscribed. I love your enthusiasm! I think you may really like Fight the good fight live from the US Festival. They only have three guys for that show and they rock. They added the 4th here, to fill in some sound. I'll be sure to be checking out your other reviews! Plus the singer guitarist is a trained classical player Which is very rare in Rock. Bravo.
If you think this is a love song for music listen to Fantasy Serenade/Hold On by Triumph from the album Just A Game. Fantasy Serenade is a great classical guitar piece.
I have a suggestion of a band for you...they are called "Herre Come the Mummies". They are a funk, r&b, jazz, rock band. They can play anything. I know, I know...the name might be misleading but they are superb musicians and a must watch. Anything live by them is fantastic and fun. I don't want to give to much away about them as they will surprise you. Ummmm...can you please watch and react to "Ra Ra Ra" from their "Undead Live" tour? This one has a Latin vibe to it. Enjoy!
Can you check out the band Asking Alexandria with a few of their oldest songs……Pick one of their oldest songs. They are older ones and heavy too. Please…. Asking Alexandria “A Prophecy” “Closure” “To the Stage” “Breathless”

The look on your face when you hear Rik sing was great. He can sing and play.
Triumph was such a bad ass group back in the 70’s and 80’s. Saw them in concert twice and both times they killed it. Absolutely love Triumph.

I see you like it👍 I've been listening to Triumph over the last 40 years. Welcome to the club!🤘😎🤘
The concert from Baltimore was epic!
The US festival performance is what the real band sounds like.

Classical guitarist you should check out Rik Emmett's the singer and guitarist of Triumph doing "Midsummers Day Dream" sometime
Music can have a powerful emotional impact
Music brings a zest for life!
Big fan of Triumph. You should check out Starcastle's Lady of the Lake.
Ric Emmett from Triumph and Steve Morse are huge Steve Howe fans. BTW Ric Emmett is great on acoustic guitar
Rick Santers was the other guitarist on stage. Normally Triumph is a three piece.
Art is how we decorate space.
Music is how we decorate time.
Fight the Good Fight & Lat It On The Line.

You should try listening to midsummer's daydream and little boy blues
As a classic guitarist, you should react to "mid somers daydream" by triumph. It is a solo guitar piece

Asking Alexandria
“A Prophecy”
“Closure”
“To the Stage”
“Breathless”
Who was the second guitarist???????
Rick Santers. He joined them for one tour.
🤘🍁🤘
When I saw this tour I knew they were just about done.. Triumph is a trio.... Rick Santers was not needed up there.
If you want to listen to something a bit different, do Jinjer Pisces. Very unusual female vocalist.
Rick is one of the very few singers who sounds better live !
3 piece band
Yeah they added the the 2nd guitarist here for this tour.
