Nobody can touch this band right now in my opinion. Evergrey is so special dude. Some bands feel like they slow down, maybe get a little stale as they go. Evergrey does not fit that stereotype at all. They're about to release their 13th album and it feels like they've just gotten better and better. I cannot put into words how much I love this band. And they're all gems of human beings to boot. If you've ever gotten a chance to meet these five guys, you know what I'm talking about.
Last time i heard evergrey was... puh ... 2007? Im Feeling old now. Thanks for reminding me , that they are still making music. Will gave them a chance again... 😉
Didn’t know this album came out until four days after it’s release which was a surprise I thought the new album would come out next year. I’m glad I listened to the album as a whole without listening to the singles.
Thnx Tank, great vid, as always. Stoked to fly to Gothenburg next week for the release gig. Did it back in the days for the Night to remember gig and it’s time to see the guys again in their hometown. Keep up the good work!
i can't wait to buy this album. You are the one that got me into Evergrey, watching your reactions. I had heard of them but never took the time. i'm so stoked for this!
Yes! Evergrey has really stepped up over the years. This is building up to be a BIG album from them. Last time I saw them live, they just were firing on all cylinders! Great reaction Tank, and I'm really glad you have found this talented band! Keep rocking...
Good one, Tank. I hear so much music that I wouldn't hear ,or even know about, on your channel. Your observations and insights make it better. Thanks man.
Hey cool! I'm born in the year the first commercial synthesizer was developed. That's some time ago.... And I can live with the commercial failure ;-).
Thanks you so so much Tank that’s makes me happy hey btw I’m sorry that I pushed you many times to react to the song but anyway you did it, I’m pretty exited for next week for the release day of the album i know you are to as well😊🤘 P.S. I’m a big fan of channel and of you to, have a good day✌️
@Tank - you should check out Tom's new interview/chat with Ola Englund. Lots of cool insight into the bands proggy early days. You definitely should do some videos to their old stuff - Dark Discovery, Solitude Dominance Tragedy and In Search of Truth. I know YOU have heard them already, but a great way to show the evolution of the band from 1996 till now.
I have been a huge fan since ISoT, and The Inner Circle to this day is still my favorite of theirs. The string quintet they used throughout the album, combined with the subject matter, just makes it an album that still stands out the most above all their other albums.
Have loved this band for years, and they are on my bucket list of bands to see live. BTW, bought EC tix for Columbus yesterday. I hope I get a chance to say hi to you! If it doesn't happen, I understand that you are working 🙂
If you haven't heard of them yet, you should check out the song A Suite For an Ugly Trombone by the band Velja. They're a Ukrainian metalcore band who, to me, sounds almost like a mix of Spiritbox and Jinjer, but with more of an electronic element, and a little more theatricality. For sure worth a listen.
I am reaching out again to ask you to check out Vintersea. They have a tour coming up in July on the West coast and I think it would be awesome if you were able to react to their song Befallen. It would be an awesome way to help lead into their tour with more people learning about this amazing band!
Reaction recommends: BloodBound, Pathfinder, Myrath, Iron Fire, InFlames, Falconer, Heathen, Paradox, Testament(probably too familiar….maybe), BabyMetal… Please keep bringing great music to new people.. Metal will unite the World. Thanks!
This is just an observation, not a knock. Music is just so trendy, 75% of "metal", and I am including almost all genres, seems to be a 5 piece, with the keyboards, singing harsh vocals with some cleans or vice versa. And I love some of those bands and their music...but it's the other 25% ( that might be a tad high ) that are doing something a little different, sometimes subtlety (like Jinjer ), or sometimes in your face (IA), that are accumulating millions of views. Neither group may be better than the other, but I think that history shows that the eccentric bands that change a genre a just a little bit have the most impact and last a bit longer. I mean, how long has Tool been around?....
Thanks so much Tank, and for all your support for this album! We appreciate it immensely! Thanks from all of us!! :D And thanks guys for watching!
Thank YOU, Tom! Super excited for this new album!

YES! All about this is just YES! Love it! Great reaction as well Tank, loved the background information.
Has been an Evergrey fan since 1995 and this song is in my eyes one of the best they have done. Mind blowing….. Big Time….
As usual, Evergrey is just a pleasure to see and hear...
Solid band..great song..as always

May the force be with you 🤟
I haven't heard Evergrey in years. Used to listen to these guys a ton back in college. Love to see that they still have it!
You’ve missed out on some great records…. These last 5 albums have been AMAZING. these guys have aged very well.
@@stp2122 Haven't listened to them since Hymns for the Broken. Guess I got some catching up to do lol
@@dragonblazer96 the Storm Within and the Atlantic are fantastic. The Atlantic might be their best work IMO.
Excellent 👍🏻
Rock on 🤘🏻

Love Evergrey. Thanks, Tank for reacting to these guys.
I think one of the most informative reactions from you so far, very interesting stuff!

This album are gonna be 🧨, and all three singles are amazing. Evergrey 🇸🇪 just love this band
been a fan of Evergrey since hearing "A Touch Of Blessing"
Same here. "A Touch Of Blessing got me into them"
I wish they had kept this intro in the audio version. That build up is phenomenal.
Good one, Tank.
I hear so much music that I wouldn't hear ,or even know about, on your channel.

Their best so far from This album 🔥🤘🔥
Still laughing after the "Tank note to self" :D

Didn't think I'd hear actual swedish in a Tank video. 😁🇸🇪 Decent song too.
nice to see Jacob as bartender!!! best drumtech/his studio is best in the world!!!!!
Thanks you so so much Tank that’s makes me happy hey btw I’m sorry that I pushed you many times to react to the song but anyway you did it, I’m pretty exited for next week for the release day of the album i know you are to as well😊🤘

No worries, man. I was for sure reacting to this no matter how much or little people bugged me for it. Haha
album releases next friday 5/20 🤘😎🤘
The radio voice sounds like it’s one of the actual news readers from the largest radio channel in Sweden.
it's because it is :)
@@TomEnglundMusic I thought so but didn’t dare to make the assumption. Brilliant work. 🙂
The intro is in my language (Swedish) so I thought I accidentally clicked on a Swedish news broadcast. 😂😂
It was great 👍🏻

Pretty sure the dude that is trying to get them is the same dude who acted on the external nocturnal sound track video.

The bass player Johan looks like a younger Rick Rubin here. Actually thought it was him for a moment. Lol.
100% agree with you!
Cant wait for you to react to the 2 new songs of motionless in white : ''Masterpiece'' and also ''Cyberhex'' !! .... 2 awesome songs !

You should check out the new stain the canvas video and song “dead circus” 🤯
This track rips! and funny how your heart rate went up more when talking about gear than hearing the song lol.
Tank, you should go back a few years and check out "In Orbit" feat Floor Janssen

Please, react to Coastwise War Machine!
Also, video suggestion: Ukrainian symphonic melodeath band Ignea just released a new video. No gear but it's a good song anyway.
Dude you gotta react to circle of serpents by extortionist it's a banger
Can you react to opeth?
