I think it’s a sweep and then a rest stroke on the high E to stop the note short and then he just lets go, instead of a pull off, but that is really really hard to do at this speed keeping the rhythm and whatnot.
probably got it off of rockband where you can turn down the volume of individual songs, hence you always see these songs: HTTK, almost easy, afterlife, nightmare, welcome to the family, seize the day, unholy confessions, bat country, beast and the harlot, so far away, critical acclaim and shepherd of fire. everyone that posts those individual lead vids just rips the track right off the game and uploads them on yt for easy views i guess

I should have worded it differently....I am new to guitar, been drumming 27yrs. This is not standard tuning, so many beginners don't know stuff like this. I've been playing guitar 7 months. Tuning is Db Ab Db Gb Bb Eb. I can read tab and some music so it would make it easier for a guy like me :) Luckily from jamming with many bands I know about other tunings, but many more beginners/Mid range players would attempt this if there was tab and a little help with tuning. Not to mention I've played with guitarists who THOUGHT they knew a song, but were improvising. Just my experience. Thanks Gasparin for the imput, I do appreciate it.
