In the current video game bgm world, we call these 'Sound Fonts'. I.E. this would be Master of Puppets in the AJFA Sound Font. Each album is its own unique sound font you can just write any song in the style of, and Metallica's are very distinct thru the years. I have quite a few favorites on this channel for sure!!! 🥰

very fun, but the justice ones are brutal on my fingers after I've done all the takes for guitars (I think there's 20 something different guitar tracks on this) always makes me laugh when I come up with some sweet way to work justice harmonies into a song

As always, I'm blown away that someone was able to create these "alternate reality" tracks. Is it weird that I feel like the best overall sound/production quality in the Met discography is from Reload? That's DEFINITELY NOT to say it's my favorite Metallica album... I just feel like the sound of all the instruments on that album was just right (for once).
90s era stuff does have fantastic production thats for sure

See, I’ve been thinking nearly the opposite - “Jump in the Fire” in the style of Load/ReLoad, with “Devil’s Dance” and “Until It Sleeps” being the obvious stylistic jumping-off points. It would need the vocals to be completely redone though, since 19-year-old James just doesn’t sound like 33-year-old James, at all.

And Justice For All is one of my favorites albums of all time. I love how the guitars and the drums sound. You can find versions on RUclips with bass but the album sounds amazing. To me it's Metallica at their peak. You capture the sound perfect, brother. Thank you for all your hard work man. I appreciate everything you do.

Sounds like a justice song, probably would’ve been a better title track than the original title track for AJFA, but hey, if Metallica already did all this you’d be out of a job.
