Lol 😂, so cute and fast. A very neat FPV tiny drone. Hi Rc Saylors Nate and Abby, Popeye 🐕👋🙂. Another fantastic video 💯👍😁. Nate you still got it lol. You did great.😅. Thank you both so very much for sharing this wonderful video and God bless you and your family always 🙏. Happy Holidays to you all. Have a great week
I can imagine how delighted I would have been, as a child, getting this tech for Christmas. I would have been in awe. Children of today have so much to keep them entertained, that I wonder if kite making is still a thing. Flight Test are an amazing, God fearing company. Blessings.
Always good to see drones on the channel again this is how I found your channel years ago thx to drone vids ever since then been supporting the channel Nate and Abbey are amazing and the family and of course Popeye 😊😊😊😊⚓️⚓️⚓️
A very cool setup. Nice to see some FPV stuff back on the channel! The Flite Test crew are pretty cool, and they do some insane things! I clicked through to their site for the bundle, and to my amazment, they have Canadian Pricing! Very cool!
@@TheRcSaylors There are a bunch of options for shipping. The cheapest is USPS which was $40 CDN (~$28 USD), most expensive was $88 CDN (~$68 USD) for UPS. Unfortunately, Canada Post is on strike, so the cheapest option is a good way to have something sent into a black hole. If I go for it, it will have to be after the strike is over.
@TheRcSaylors Definitely nate! I have been flying fpv for years and tiny whoops are so much fun especially for in the house 😊 I always like seeing companies like this offer variety I just wish someone would offer a rtf with a dsm compatible radio😫 without having to get a 4in1 module 🙏🏼✌🏼
Good to see the drone FPV on the channel.. Does Flite have a deal with Radiomaster as it looks like their “Pocket” with a different skin .. 😀.. It’s a pity that it isn’t ELRS though ..
Thanks! Yes, they must have a deal with them. This transmitter of theirs is super affordable, and you can add the ELRS module for only $40 more. Seems super reasonable to me! 👍😁💯⚓️
@ .. Yeah Radiomaster do a Cc2500 & ELRS version .. I love my analogue quads like Emax Tiny Hawk Freestyle 2 & my 5 inch Crossfire but ELRS, HD & digital seems to be the way forward.. 😀
That’s so cool Daryl! I’ve never really raced them but love flying around freestyle 😁💯 I’ve had the itch again, and this drone definitely got the juices flowing for FPV! I’m so pumped to start flying this thing, inside and outside! It’s just so cold, so I’m glad to have something to buzz around with inside. When you fly something this small, it’s like exploring a whole different world, isn’t it!? This is a sweet setup too, with 4 batteries it’s like the perfect amount of flying time. Plus, I can charge 1 while flying on the other bats. I noticed, but didn’t point out in the video that the motors can be very easily replaced just with plugs, if need be. Anyways, if you decide to get back into and are going to order one of these please use our link and let us know your thoughts after your maiden!! 🙏👍😎💯⚓️
Thanks Keith!! It’s really not hard to see at all when you are flying with the goggles from that perspective, which is how I flew for the entire first part of the video. 👍😁💯😎⚓️
Really NICE set up!! Is this the drone that flips itself over from turtle mode?! I think I could see it better outside flying, so can't wait to that!! Thanks Saylors for the heads up on this little guy!! ❤👍😎
These are from a LONG time ago when Hobbico had their own brand of FPV stuff called “Rise” and we’ve held onto them for this long, finally to use them again!! It also came with little arrows that go on the floor and even a couple square gates but they don’t stand up very well. Also, two of the hoops actually light up but the batteries were dead. 😅⚓️
Hi guys. The last time you showed a flight test plane (the trainer) with their pocket radio,, you said it was "universal" does that mean I can bind it to ANY receiver ?
When I say universal, I mean not limited to one type. This transmitter can bind to almost all RX types on the market. There are a few that it can’t bind to. However if you buy a $40 module to plug into the back, it closes the gap to cover even more of the RX brands. Hope this helps to clarify my comment 😁💯🙏⚓️
For these goggles that I used in this video, I take my glasses off and use diopters which are close to my prescription so I can see the screen. It works really well! For the RTF setup in our link, the screen actually comes out of the goggles, which is really useful to let others see what the drone sees as you are flying and many other fun uses like that! Hope this helps answer your question! 😁🙏💯⚓️
100% Agreed! There might have been a little bit of confusion from this video about my wearing goggles while I was flying. I thought that was very strongly implied, but now I realize I could have put a little more emphasis on the goggles because there are likely very new people on our channel that have never seen FPV before! 😅💯😁⚓️
I feel like FT swung a missed with this.........They should have went with ERLS as the receiver protocol. THey basically took a Pocket Radio and slapped a red cover on made it for D8. If someone is starting out in the hobby and is going to buy a radio, not sure why they would not just start with a ELRS radio and quad.
I haven’t flown it outdoors yet but based on the speed I was flying inside and its angle I would say absolutely yes. I’m hoping to get out and fly it some today (off camera) and it’s Really Windy here today! 😬👍😁😎⚓️
Small, but mighty. Not sure it flew well❓️❔️❓️ Nate you kept crashing it so much it was hard to evaluate 🤔🤔🤭🤭😏😏 though when Nate wasn't crashing it, it appeared to fly well 😁😁😼😼. The fpv was not great, maybe it will be better outside. Also-possibly-maybe-hopefully-theoretically less crash opportunities for Nate🤔🤔❓️❔️❓️😂😂🤣🤣😁😁🥴🥴🥴. Hey Nate can you fly back through the kitchen & make me a grilled ham 🐖 & cheese 🧀 extra ham🐖🐖😼😼. ⚓️⚓️👍💚🧡💛👍🤔🤭😏😁😼😂🤣😏🐖🧀🐖❓️❔️👍⚓️⚓️.

Oh that is cool!! I’m not even sure that I was aware of that 😅 Was the shipping really high? 🤔⚓️
@@TheRcSaylors $25-$64 canadian for shipping depending on carrier and delivery time.2 hours east of toronto is the shipping for me.

If it isn't elrs then what is it? I didn't hear nate say and the website i don't think shows what system it's using
Been looking at getting into whoops again I used to fly and race tiny whoops with the brushed motors (thanks for inspiring me those years ago guys)

Show us acro mode
Nate looks like to me you have to have really good depth perception for this thing
Thanks Keith!! It’s really not hard to see at all when you are flying with the goggles from that perspective, which is how I flew for the entire first part of the video. 👍😁💯😎⚓️
@TheRcSaylors you sure make it look easy

Can it bind to spektrum
Damn that’s small
That's what she said 🤣
they tell me size doesn't matter
Where did you get the loops from?

@TheRcSaylors how about,, say the micro warbirds (400mm volantex& etc)
So, how do you handle the use of FPV goggles as a glasses wearer?

Brushless motors? They don’t have specs on the website
Oh yes, brushless and easily swappable 💯👍😎⚓️
👍👍👏
Ahh yes some drone content..😁😁😁 people have to realize its actually easier to fly with the goggles on.
100% Agreed! There might have been a little bit of confusion from this video about my wearing goggles while I was flying. Is it strong enough for outdoor flight with a breeze?
I haven’t flown it outdoors yet but based on the speed I was flying inside and its angle I would say absolutely yes. I’m hoping to get out and fly it some today (off camera) and it’s Really Windy here today! 😬👍😁😎⚓️
