Iam Nagaraj. Someone once said to choose the right role model is important. I've found you. Thank you, brother, for guiding me.
I appreciate the kind words man. All the best!
Hi Ranesh. I like how you put things into perspective . Great video again. Would you create a similar roadmap for how to become a data scientist? (slight difference I think). Thanks again!
Hey Ahmed, I love that you asked that question. I was on that Data Scientist path just recently and that roadmap allowed me to transition into one. Happy to create that video, for now if you connect with me via our Discord Community I can share what I did exactly and what worked for me
Thanks for replying. Is there a link to the discord community? I can't seem to find it in the video description.
Here it is: discord.gg/Vp4hYUEdFG
Thanks!
Anytime!
"Hello sir,
I have completed my data analyst course, but I have not yet secured a job. Could you please provide me with some guidance?"
Hello, thats great that you have completed a Data Analyst course. I would start by asking myself these questions:
1. What did I learn?
2. Have I applied the skills I learned (projects)
3. How good is my resume currently (does it reflect my skills and qualifications in a way that employers want to see)
4. What skills am I missing? (Look at job descriptions and figure out what they want that you don’t have).
I think this video can give you more specific guidance: ruclips.net/video/BDepj5WFkas/видео.htmlsi=_yL30erLl_0H8tSO
My English speaking is so bad even i can't talk or communicate in English because i am from Hindi medium background now i want to know is doing data analyst worth it for me or not? Plz give genuine consideration 🙏
It depends on what your goal is. If you want to get a Data Analyst job in a primarily english speaking country then I would say consider focusing on learning English first. If you’re just trying to learn the skills and land a job in your present location with predominantly Hindi speaking employers, then I would focus on learning the skills of a Data Analyst.
As I'm fresher in this field
I think it doesn’t matter as much what year you’re in. You could be a freshman or a senior and have the same skill level. If you are solely depending on a school or academy to learn from, you are limiting your growth. I highly recommend practicing self and continuous learning independently
Ranesh Guruparan, I'm an upcoming MBA student at the University of Toledo (I happened to see you did your bachelor's in Toledo through LinkedIn). I've watched all of your videos and I really admire you. I aspire to become a data analyst, and after watching your videos, I decided to pursue the Google Data Analytics certificate. I'm almost done with the certificate; currently, I'm working on the last course, which is the capstone project. I was initially confused between IBM and Google for taking courses on Coursera, but after watching your video, I chose Google Data Analytics.
Now, I have a few questions: How is the job market in the USA currently? I will graduate in May 2025 (it's a one-year program). Additionally, what should I do in advance to secure a job? What skills should I learn? I'm committed to learning every day, and your insights would be invaluable."
Hey Tharuns, I am an alumni of UT. It’s great that you’re coming here actually, within the past year we’ve done a lot to improve the program. I highly recommend you connect with Dr. David Liley and Adam Hintz when you arrive, they helped me a lot in landing my first few internships. The job market as of right now isn’t the best but I do predict it will bounce back sometime soon. However for internships, if you put in enough effort and know the right people (network enough) your chances improve significantly. We just went through our hiring process for interns this year and had an overwhelming 2k+ candidates but only interviewed about a dozen. That being said, those who got referrals had a better chance. I recommend building up your portfolio and skillset and then finding an internship either this Fall or next Spring. The fact that you have a background with the GDA and you are pursuing an MBA will put you at an advantage. I think this video will sufficiently guide you on next steps :
If you have any other questions, do reach out. All the best!!

Hi I'm from South Africa I'm currently doing Google Data Analytics Certificate on Coursera i would really want to secure a remote Data Analyst job in the US while in South Africa is it possible?
Hi, that’s great! Generally, without work authorization, it’s pretty tough to land a job within the US but companies do sponsor. I also know of contracting firms that hire internationals and contract them out to US based companies. Essentially, you would need to put in a lot of effort into honing your skills after completing the certification and also try to find specific companies that are willing to accommodate internationals (assuming you don’t already have authorization to work in the US).
I studying cybersecurity and i am trying to get Data analytics can you help which should i do google or ibm
I recommend Google because it’s easier to get into but both are pretty good choices. If you have no programming experience I would go with Google, if you have some experience with programming then IBM would be fine too!
Make video for data engineer 💟
Coming soon!
A lot of the initial steps are similar. The focus on BI tools will be less but more so on understanding the ETL and data pipelines, working with different cloud tools etc

Hello, Could you recommend a good RUclips channel for improving English?
Hey Nikhil, I don’t really have any. Maybe try duolingo?
Im sure if you look up some key terms like how to speak english fluently on RUclips and sort by views, you should get some good suggestions
