had this in my old flat, I set it up on the building intercom (you had to ring the apartment and someone inside had to press the button in the house to allow you access in the building) .. so I had this setup and used the app.. I ringed my flat and pressed the button via the application on the phone.. Was very useful as I didn't have to take the keys out of my backpack. The device has a lot of nice use cases :) I know someone using this to randomly turn on / off the lights in the flat to be sure thiefs don't target his place ;))
