Thanks for this. I have a switch in my home that is unusual. It's not connected to mains power so a standard smart switch wont work. I've never connected anything to my HA with bluetooth. I object to having to buy their hub. Switchbot could be ideal. Can you clarify your setup? How far away is your HA from the switchbot?

In this video it was ~ 10 metres or 30 feet through several walls.... I think it would be fine combined with Bluetooth proxies.
