A total comfort watch! A cozy day book shopping, having a treat at a cafe and then heading home to cuddle your new books really is the best so this was an absolute joy to watch 🙂
When I had a three weeks solo tour of Scotland , Orkney was definitely my favourite place. There's something about its landscape, wildlife and vibe that really fascinated me. Everytime I watch your videos I always think about that Scottish holiday and the stunning places I saw. Grateful to you for that. 💜
Joy to be glimpsing Inverness again but I was sending warm thoughts as I am in a sunny seaside town in Australia, with a fresh breeze blowing in and my washing on the line and a clean house. I recognised a few of those spots from our 4 days in Inverness in 2019. We loved it! I also had a win last week at a charity shop with 4 vintage books and one called The Little White Horse by Elizabeth Goudge was part of my treasure haul. My granddaughter Iris and I love op shopping and the library equally! It was lovely to see one of your vlogs again.
The Salt Path by Raynor Winn is a favourite of mine along with the rest of her books. I also enjoyed reading Mark Boyle's books- The Moneyless Man and The Way Home. Thank you for another lovely video.🚶♀️📚
How wonderful is to have the opportunity of visiting Inverness, and the cozy libraries and coffee shop there. Love your video Molly, thanks for sharing with us! I live in Uruguay, South America, and visited Scotland and England last year. I just love everything there. I choose Inverness because of the tv show: Outlander.
ahh, I work in Inverness Library so it’s so cute to stumble on a video that features it!! if you’re looking for a nice vegan spot in Inverness next time you visit, Café Culture is right beside Leakey’s, highly recommend🫶
I’m reading Alchemy and Rose right now and I’ve read other Sarah Maine titles. I’m definitely drawn in to the story in Alchemy and Rose. Maine’s writing is just so wonderful it makes the world in the novel vividly alive.
I like your excursions into town, going to book stores and charity shops. I also like your walks in the countryside. I'm a vegan, so I enjoy seeing what meals you prepare as well.
I am a new subscriber and I really enjoyed this video and I love your sharing of what you eat. I made a list of the books you shared with us and will be looking for them. I also love the idea of a planner but not digital. I LOVE my books and holding them is so satisfying in and of itself..! I know you agree.😊
If you ever want to go to Fort William, they have the high street bookstore which is lovely and also a library! There are many charity shops, the wildcat is a vegan and the highland soap company is super nice as well and they make my favorite soaps!
I love watching your videos. I adore Scotland❤, Great-Britain❤, Wales❤ since I was a little girl (I’m living in France😔). Thank you for sharing, it’s such a great joy.
What a lovely video. I was in Inverness in 2019; for a short time only; and unfortunately didn't set a priority of visiting bookshops. I'll never forgive myself for not going to Leakey's. We did go to the Highland Bookshop in Ft. William.
Hi, I love all your videos and content. I'd love to see you spend a morning (or day!) Mooching around the charity shops, and chatting about any purchases you make.xx
I absolutely loved this video. What a wonderful way to spend some time. I love book shopping, from the library, second hand shops and Waterstones. I went to Inverness a few years ago and went in the shops you did. I feel book shopping envy. So glad you're feeling better. Book shopping is a great way to treat yourself. xx
Completely love your enthusiasm for a trip book shopping. I’m exactly the same. For me, Waterstones in Swansea is THE best stones. Complete with coffee shop and wonderfully knowledgeable book sellers. I’d be interested to hear what you thought of Sea Bean. I loved it until a certain point and then struggled to get past it…you might or might not see what I mean when you’ve read it :)
I love looking into the books you’re reading or recommend. I’m enjoying The No Show right now. Do you like Greek Mythology? If you do, you might enjoy Circe by Madeline Miller
Looks lovely . I was wondering if you had a favourite/ recommended brand for herbal teas please ? I’m finding some totally lacking in flavour . Thank you in advance, Sarah x
Hi Molly thanks for this cozy video really enjoyed it,that book last letter from your lover, sounds really good lm into those kind,Have a great week 😊❤❤❤❤😂
Loved this vlog! Leakeys looks amazing. ❤ I loved that Amy Liptrot book and am also keen to go to Orkney. Would love to see a vlog there if you do go! I like the sound of the nature memoir you bought, I’ll look that one up. x
I love reading books just like you but in my town we don't have any English book shops . Can you please give away your old books to me I really love English book but i don't have any 😢
Hello Molly ❤ here you're again' with your best vlog i love watching your vlogs .do you live own your own but how ? Can you teach me please I'm feeling lonely because my boyfriend left me for someone else 😑
You read so much. I wish I could do that .Its lovely to see the books that you read. I have a list of them for future reference. Am curious. Do you watch TV? xx
Have you ever been on a trip to Logie Steading nr Forres 2nd hand bookshop and cakes!? That would be a good outing. Also have you been to Blythswood at Deephaven nr Evanton?
I read a few of the book you’ve recommended. Really liked the Ghost woods and the Bookseller of Inverness! If there is anyone from GERMANY🇩🇪 here, I resell the books (on Kleinanzeigen) once I read them as I don’t want to accumulate too many books and I also think thrifting books is more suistainable especially when the book prices have gone up due to the lack of paper/ trees! Made the same mistake with the weather. One day it’s warmer and then it’s freezing cold again!
Lovely! I’ve added “The Yorkshire Forager” to my TBR after seeing it on the shelf in your video. My mother is from Yorkshire and I was born in Australia.. have never been to the UK and can’t wait to one day visit ❤
Hi I don't know your name , just want to say thank you for this video watching your videos gives me pleasure , I want you to do a full day of my life video if you don't mind
I love watching your videos every Sunday :) thank you! I love the book themed videos you do! Always great to get lots of inspiration. I would love a talk through of your Spring/Summer book list. The days out/book themed reviews / talk through are my favourites (although the nature mix is fabulous too!). x
Thank you for your feedback Rachel! I do share more book content on my Substack (including reviews of everything I'm reading) and its linked in my description in case you wanted to check it out :)
Love 🥰 watching this video Molly and great to see you having a trip to Inverness and enjoying the Library in Inverness. Inverness is a bit of a distance from my area (2 buses are required to get to Inverness). Have a lovely Sunday evening and week ahead. Love 💞 Molly.
Thanks for taking us with you to Inverness. It was a trip down memory lane for me, went there back in September and also went to all the charity shops and book stores. ❤
Wonderful to see you explore my hometown of Inverness - I feel like I am re-exploring my home as I have been in Australia for many years - I have not been to Leakeys as yet - but will for sure ! Thank you Molly :-)
Hello, another great book haul video!! The Birdcage is a wonderful read. I actually read it after reading your recommendation of The Glass House which was also fab! Just a recommendation from me if that’s ok - I’m reading Rebecca’s Tale by Sally Beauman. It’s the sequel to Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier. Have a lovely day x
Hi Molly we were in Inverness yesterday and yes it was raining! I bought a book at Waterstones 'The Homecoming' by Kate Morton which I am excited to read! Very interested in your choice of books and they are certainly now on my to read list! Let us know what you think of the books once you have read them. I am happy to watch whatever interests you to share with us. I guess the walks outside in the countryside with your sweet dog are always so relaxing to watch. Thanks for sharing your day. Have a wonderful week!
I loved this episode. Seeing a bit of Inverness whilst book shopping with great recommendations that are also greatly appreciated. The cheese cake looked delicious too!

Ooh a woodburner in the bookshop nice!

Aw welcome lovely! Yes, I agree that holding books feels so calming :)
My first time here. "Hello" from Washington (state), United States.
Matt Haig is a good read. I read Haig's 'The Midnight Library'.
Welcome Julie! Yes, the Midnight Library is a fantastic book! :)
Me too! Hello to Washington! I heard you‘re having a drought?! 😱
@@SurfergirlKH Yes, still officially a drought here (2024) in Washington state.
