Just saw this show for the first time in person a week ago and I had no idea what to expect and I have to say it f***ed with me!!!! I WAS NOT prepared for the smoke, water, being poked in the back and butt and giant spiders falling from the ceiling.

I remember going on this with my mom when I was little. It made me scared of bugs and developed arachnophobia….
I still love this film.
I actually heard somewhere that there is a track of a kid crying that is played during the film. Idk if it's true or not but I swear I heard it in Animal Kingdom last year. It seemed amplified and like the theater didn't have as many kids that were moving at all in a way that would make me think they are crying.
This is on the only Disney attraction that is on my "Fuck this shit, I'm out" list.

ah yes, my favorite family-friendly attraction where a giant grasshopper tries to murder the audience.
On the way to the theater, you can hear flies buzzing Broadway songs like "I Feel Pretty" and "Hello Young Lovers"
And most of the posters are bug versions of classic Broadway shows!

I was crying when I went on this, the fog, spiders I didn’t enjoy this.
My twin sister was terrorized of this. She hated the spiders. But she thinks the bug spray is way worse due to its smell. But, I liked he attraction.

Went on this in Florida. Literally jumped out of my seat and stood the rest of the show after the wasp sting. Tried banging on the exit doors and couldn't escape. It was traumatizing

HAHAHA thats nuts! Last time the seat I was on didn't work so I put my hand on the one next to me and felt the bugs crawling. It is actually like a wave effect rippling the seat like a solid wave machine.

I was 4 and I had to leave the theatre I was crying and screaming so bad. Literally led to a lifelong phobia of bugs.... especially bugs turning giant.
I went the first time I went to Disney land. Or maybe the second time. Idk I’m not keeping track. But anyway, I was somewhere between 4-6.
At the end I could understand that people were screaming because it feels like bugs crawling out from underneath their butts, but I didn't get scared from that when I tried this out at Disney World.
They were screaming for fun :)
When I went on this on my last trip, it got stopped. The Hopper Audio-Animatronic started gushing fluid from his neck, and the show stopped a few seconds later when the CM saw it. Was pretty weird to see an Animatronic actually break during a show cycle.

This scared me so badly as a child when I did it at Animal Kingdom (I was about 6 or 7) I refused to watch any movie that involved bugs, specifically A bugs life and Antz. Didnt watch them again until I was maybe 9 or 10 ish. Still makes me uncomfortable.

We need a sequel to a bug's life.
Re-tape this one, and put the bug glasses over the lens of the camera. It works well and wont have the double effect from 3D.

im glad my 1 year was sleep the whole time because i cursed so loud when i got stung.
When I went to this attraction at Disney World the Hopper animatronic didn't look like he was lined up correctly because when we entered the theater, I turned to the hole where he hopped out and I couple see the top of his head! And when he hopped out, his feet weren't lined up with the floor so he was floating about 3 inches and you could see the supports for his feet! I thought it was funny.
My wife & kids went on this. The part she didn't like were the bee stings. She said they hurt.

I went to see this with the whole 5th grade classes, it was a memorable thing from my childhood lol. This and Soaring California were my two favorites 😍🥹

Bruh, my grandma knew I loved this movie so I was juiced to go. As soon as they sprayed me in my face, I ran out the building.. it was too real man lol.

It’s 2023 I wonder how this space translated to Avenger’s campus. RIP to this attraction - it was a big part of my visits as a kid ❤ so fun, ESPECIALLY the bugs under the seat!!! But 7:37 Hopper was sorta scary! But so amazing now! Screen and animatronic interaction, amazing as an adult now
Never got the pleasure to experience this, but i prefer the bugs land rides over the one spiderman attraction they have at avengers campus.

There are some animatronic spiders, wind, and sting effects. And the whole theater is filled with fog.
When they scream, they're being poked by something in the seat in the back and they make it so swift that it's surprising.

What the heck I didn’t know ppl hated this attraction this was one of my favorites/most memorable attraction at Disneyland, I’m also not afraid of bugs so that’s probably why
Personally I hated it because of my arachnophobia, kind of a deal breaker for me. Otherwise, the effects, attention to detail, quality of the animatronics, and the lasting impact this attraction had were hella impressive. I saw this when I was 5/6 and I think this attraction is what manifested my arachnophobia lmao.

This Was Such a good show, I miss it! So thanks Disney for removing a cool show and replacing it with the worst fucking ride at the resort

Ironically Though I been to Disney World more times, I saw this more in Cali because it was brand new when I had an involuntary financial related break from Disney for 15 years. The entrance is far less spectacular but for the small park it was something well themed to do. It was one of the original attractions here and one of the few opening day attractions that had a Disney level theming feel to it. There was no Tower, no Radiator Springs, there was no Ariel, there was no toy story mania, it was just this, Muppets, and Soarin' that reached that level. The rest felt like Six Flags. Or so I hear, I wasn't there until 2015 but I read a very detailed article on Mouse planet at the time called Half Park Full Price. I have since not been able to locate an archive of it.

Miss DCA's version. The animatronics and the fog effect always seemed better-maintained, not to mention the Flea animatronic actually having some movement compared to Animal Kingdom's.

To be honest they shoulda turned this into a Tinkerbell Pixie Hollow attraction the theming would have fit. I'm not all that big on the Avengers Campus I find it really cheap to theme anything on technical headquarters or military installations because it requires you to just build a regular everyday building and slap a few ip specific in universe words on them. It's like OOOO It's Tony Stark's Distribution warehouse ooooo Is this a theme park or Kearney NJ?
Unfortunately Avengers Campus is looked down upon entirely by the toxic Disney Parks fandom and critics who try to brainwash others and say “there needs to be more hardcore angry reviews on Avengers Campus”
I mean, I can respect people’s opinions if they don’t like AC, and I do wish the land could’ve been better if it wasn’t for Chapek’s cheap Theme Park ways, but it’s not entirely as bad as most people say it is IMO.

We were waiting for dinosaur at disney land/world but I didn't go on dinosaur. So the lady was like" Oh your kids will love its is tough to be a bug. But I ended up screaming. I thought that was real acid.
To tell the truth- Dave Foley is way better than Wally Wingert. Plus, Kevin Spacey talks normal while Andrew Stanton talks weird.
Why is the hell is Spider-Man web shooters the replacement? They shouldn’t have replaced it at all at California Adventure. I wanted my daughter to have fun, she did but this would’ve completed the experience.
