Television Jamaica oh gosh they’re so many. Her voice became a staple in my life. Fond memories are Jamaica today. 2. Her banters with oncoming Or outgoing broadcasters. She was very congenial, and had a pleasant relationship with other broadcaster- her chats with Mrs Gloudon comes readily to mind, of course we all know and waited every morning for her banter with Allan Mad-nut as she affectionately referred to him. 3. Loved listening to her on holidays, her sweet unmistakable voice made holiday mornings in bed even better. 4. Morning coffee guests... loved that segment They’re so many, I started high school 1983, she took me through high and college. Then her stint on TVJ, she became another family member in our homes. Now and for a long time whenever I think of the nightly news segments, I’ll be thinking of Dorraine, in fact I’ll be looking to see the charming darling gracing the faces of television set. I’m missing her terribly, this is surreal. Sighs 😢
